Been actively looking at these. They seem great. Got taken around Spa in one a few years ago. Was looking at standard models to modify but the car seems horrible to work on. Standard cat an absolute mission to get out and drilling the top mounts out for easier camber adjustment on coil overs etc. Think I’ll wait for a low mile one already modified!
They’re not the nicest of cars to work on that I do know. Ball joints / bushes, swivel hub ball joints, not cheap to run daily. I average between 7mpg - 9mpg ( 310hp / 360ftlbs ) on track that’s resetting everything on the day. Incredible chassis though.
An R26.R might be more up your street. Just finished helping a friend pull the engine, engine bay refresh and some other works and put on a Ktec big turbo. Easy to work on so far. Hardest part was bleeding the awful clutch.
Absolutely that & agree with your comment about using them on recliners. Think we might have done a track day together before at Oulton Park February 2022 having looked at your channel. I still chat with Ben who had the DC5 Type R that was also there on the day.
My partners dad was killed by a young driver who hit him Head on speeding on anb Road apparently he swerved to miss an animal and hit him coming the other way .I love cars and watched this looking for info on a migane rs but driving like this is fine on a clear road but it's always the unexpected that kills or a one off please keep a track car on a track if you want to test it as any TV car program will do
The car is running the same power as before the engine was built, bought it with the engine rebuilt because the engine needed a refresh and I plan on doing new turbo some point soon to get up toward 500hp

They are so capable for track and b-roads, and for the price, they are amazing, stuff twice as expensive could catch one

@@PT82 the Recaro cs's are designed from factory able to safely run harnesses.

To get an increase of 100 HP more or less you need to forge the motor on these? Wouldn't though so
No you don't need to forge them for this power ...many run hybrid turbo 360bhp on stock internals. You can run 320 max on stock turbo.

I ran 393 bhp with a Garrett g25-550 on a fully stock engine with a standard clutch. No issues whatsoever.
