I agree with ya. NA build you’re not gonna see much vice a boosted application. I saw about 40 or so when I went E85. Great video and good to see ya doing 6hem again.
Thanks for watching man! A lot of the info I'm compiling here is what I've learned from my own experience, AND plus from following informative builds like yours.
Thank you for this Video, I have an RT with a procharger and was on the fence whether to go E85 or stay on 91, but hearing that E85 does a lot more for a boosted car has sold me to switch to it. Should hopefully be able to make 515-550 whp after the switch.
Hey, I havent written to you in a few yrs and have been watching a few of your vids. I had a set of Long tube headers from American Racing Headers installed on my 5.7L chrysler 300C back in sept. and had the car tuned via diablosport trinity tuner. I asked my local speed shop for a more aggressive tune and he suggested to get a cam and dyno tune. Ive always wanted to put a cam in this car and i think im going to pull the trigger and have it done. The speed shop said with headers, cam, cai and dyno tune that Ishould be making almost 500hp at the crank. We shall see. 😅. Im going to need a torque converter too, its a daily driver 5 speed nag1 so I've seen some cam kits that recommend 2500 stall speed.
do you need Hellcat injectors with a FlexFuel kit? or is that just for the full E85 tune? I just put a FlexFuel kit in mine, but with stock injectors. it runs fine so far, and I mainly have it for the fuel savings, (2.65 for E85 vs $5+ for 91) but I was wondering if the HC injectors would increase performance. if I can get 15hp I'd be happy.
I've been kicking around the idea - not sure if I should get a Whipple for the Hellcat or the R/T. Leaning towards the R/T since the Hellcat seems fast enough
Hey bro! How you doing? Love your videos I got a dodge charger rt! Thinking bout doing long tube headers, e85 tune and fuel injectors and cam in the future! Do you think it’s worth doing e85 and headers?
less than 10 or 15 for the inconvenience of only be able to drive the car in an area where you know supports e85 is most definitely not worth it. Not sure why you wouldn't do flex fuel.
Where I am e85 is currently readily available. I plan on doing headers and 6.4 intake with active runners and a 100-125hp nitrous wet system. Would it be worth it for me? Also it seems the process of growing corn and making ethanol is not profitable without government subsidies and I’m sure they are not permanent.
Honestly, I am not sure I am qualified enough to speak on the government subsidies. Though I will say that it is a good question for your tuner whether E85 would be the correct route when running nitrous. I would assume so

40 is a good chunk for someone with nothing but a intake like me
Your saying u seen 40 when or before u were boosted? Do u know the exact number if u dyno a stock 5.7 on E85 tune ?
@@H3mif4v5r after boosted. I don’t.

Glad I watched this. Was considering buying an eFlex kit. I'll save my money 👍

I miss having an rt, when I had one you were a frequent watch. I hope one day I’ll pay for one in full
The R/T is definitely a great platform. I appreciate your continued support man!
Hey Donny. Do you eventually plan on boosting the 5.7

Like he said. If you think 10-15 horsepower more is worth it then yes
Good Video! 👍🏽

you didnt upgrade the fuel pump?? arent you supposed too?
LETS GOOOO THE GOAT
Thanks bro. Hope all is well on your end!!
Any times yet dragy etc?
Hitting the track some more this week, then planning to put together a history of my mods vs the times I ran!
Why not say how much hp power got punch it hear it how sounds to see how fast goes
Do you think a e85 flex fuel kit would make a difference on a stock 5.7?
I do not think it would make a noticeable difference in performance, though it is nice to have both fuels as an option.
