I think the nanotech message is played in the game if you have taken damage before breaking the nanotech crate on Veldin. There's two versions, one for "you're full health, but here's what nanotech does" and one for "that nanotech you picked up healed you"

Also, 15 does not end up becoming 40. There are 40 Gold Bolts and 15 weapons. 40 divided by 15 makes a decimal, so they would have to make 5 more Gold Bolts or remove 10 to make the weapons cost 3 Gold Bolts or 2 Gold Bolts, respectively.

I remember the nanotech one could have been on the PS2 version but the change is so similar that I might just be remembering it wrong, and PS3 but that message about Drek gone so Ratchet is top customer is on the PS2 version but not the PS3 version, because I remember hearing it before and considering I just finished the PS3 game days ago and didn't remember hearing it back then, I would say its on the PS2 version. SapphireShield l thought they looked familiar when l saw them but there is an armor customization option in Size Matters. You can get a flame type armor in that, that does similiar.
Maybe because it would be a liability, rather than something you would use or something that would be too overpowered against ground foes. You could essentially make a shield wall that enemies can't go through. Also, they are boots, aiming would be too weird and it would be more of a support weapon, rather than it's own weapon to be used alone, like the Clank Zapper, it would be better if it was used in association with another weapon and if it was in the Gadget boots section, it would be a pain to take them off constantly or, if it was in the weapons section, would be annoying if you had to activate and deactivate them constantly. Therefore, cool concept, but, unfortunately, only on paper.

I'm guessing Gleeman Vox's dialogue was only cut in versions from other regions, because I've heard all of his dialogue from this video when playing the NTSC version of Deadlocked. If you happen to repeat the fight against Vox a few times (i.e. die a few times), then he will eventually say these lines. It just seems to be randomized and even, in some cases, based on what you're doing in-game.

Funny, those unused helpdesk lady dialogue lines weren't cut from my version of the game. The helpdesk says "You just picked up Nanotech" if you were damaged and picked it up, but if you weren't damaged it just says "That's Nanotech." The unused boss music for the vid comic is used in the demo but got replaced in the final version. The last "unused" dialogue for the Shellshock guy wasn't cut from the US version.
Actually when you beat the game the gadgetron lady tells you about the "goodies" menu in Spanish once you get into the screen where it tells you how many golden guns and skill points you collected.
Interesting fact: the Gold versions of the weapons which had their gold versions "Cut" from the final release of the game can still be accessed using a Codebreakers cheat disk.

When I finished the game when I booted into the game the first time and loaded my game, that sound would play EVERY TIME and EVERY TIME I would go look at the pause menu, only to be disappointed every time.
oofus All gold weapon are different tho... for example The suck cannon had 5 more capacity making it a total of 10 or Decoy Glove has a different decoy version which explodes dealing damage to nearby enemies and I believe it takes more hits.

I love the Ratchet and Clank series and the first game was great. It had some problems, but it's problems were fixed in the sequel.
