Jeezz Jebb, Your a much better man than me….. I would filmed myself committing H.K. Got one to do myself and I have gotten a huge amount from your video…… wishing you all the best 🌈🍀🍀🍀😊
Just got it back together and running today. Had a friend re-time the engine, the starter was loose and the wear ring had developed so high spots. It wasn’t causing the engine to not turn over but changed it out while we were at it.
J/J. Oh that dreaded 'Supercharger' model Waverunner jetski from Yamaha ! My nephew Ralphy did the same issue on his brand new motor with 10hrs on the clock in PNG, a four week container ride back to Brisvegas' for repairs mista ? V.
Currently in the process of replacing mine when I started to tighten in the bolt my engine rotated an inch or two to the right that I remember then i rememebred tigjten the bolt for the engine holder tool. I have not yet to finish the job do you think that's good caused a timing issue on my engine? The moment was very very minimal
To the right or the left? It’s a left hand thread. When the engine turned did you hear any click or clunk or anything? If not you might have got away with it. Unplug the coils and turn it over on the key first to make sure it turns over fine. If it is out the it will lock up but if it doesn’t fire it should be fine as that’s what mine did.
@JebbreysJibberish so basically when I was prepping up to remove the bolt that holds the supercharger clutch I installed the tool that's supposed to hold the gears in place so it does not move. It was not lining up with the screw hole about an inch away so I had to push the tool to the right side looking at the ending forward from the front of the jet ski if that makes sense I did not hear any noises or any clicks or sounds or anything so I hope I really didn't cause any damage that could affect the timing. I will be putting everything back together I'm testing as you mentioned. Thank you.
Well if you don’t screw it up like me it’s probably not too bad 🙄🤣 it’s a little fiddly and you need to make sure you have the right tools but it’s certainly a do it yourself capable job.
No had a friend do it for me so no video sadly. Just put a new pump housing and the new clutch so will probably keep it this season. Might sell next season, see how things are going then.

I reckon it’s fine but the test is easy and good peace of mind
Does the clutch need replaced on the newer svho models?? I read somewhere that they don’t and some places say that it should be replaced..
They will all need to be replaced when they wear out. Just like any clutch.
@@JebbreysJibberish is this hard to do by yourself??

Excuse me how can rpm down when engine overspeed
Hi mate. Have you fixed this up yet?
Yep, all good. Cams out, re timed and it came good thankfully.
That’s good did you make a video? Also are you interested in selling it??@JebbreysJibberish

Part 2?
Maybe soon! Been saving money for the fix!
