Autumn Light | S2:E1 - Basin & Falls

What a treat it is to be back in the field! In the first episode of this season of 'Autumn Light', I head to the subalpine basin of my dreams in the Great Burn Recommended Wilderness. Literally, since first seeing it many years ago, I've dreamt of returning. It's just that special.
Although the photography does play out quite how I planned, I made the most of my time at one of my favorite waterfalls. In the end, I make my favorite images of the falls to date!

You just can’t beat a waterfall shot in the midst of autumn colors in Montana!…. Was just curious, I assume you bracketed those beautiful waterfall shots with the light in the background?…. A couple of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen…

I did! The dynamic range was massive. I took did 3-shot (1-stop increments) brackets for any of the waterfall shots with sky. Thanks for watching!
