I lost two friends in an avalanche 20 years ago this October, and the closer of the two lived up the Rattlesnake and hiked Stuart Peak every chance he got. Your love for it coupled with your stunning photography feels like a beautiful memorial to Nate. And although a third generation Missoulian, I've never hiked Stuart Peak, but I believe it will be a destination the next time I return home💗 Thank you for this beautiful video.

This was awesome! My gf and I were passing through Missoula in late September hiking/driving from Seattle to Chicago! We stayed there for a night and it was beautiful; though hiking with my 4x5 camera setup is a lot LOL

I was really enjoying your video and then I hit the spectre of brocken part - WOW, it blew my mind. I experienced this one time in the mountains of southern Alberta but it was short and no where as intense. I also really appreciated your commentary at the end. I feel the same and have a similar need to go to the mountains to help calm and center me. I am not sure what is wrong with the TH-cam Algorithm but I think that this video should have views in the hundred thousands!!

Brian, I can truly understand. I love going out and doing flower, bird and landscapes but the weather here in the Mojave Desert is too hot ( average 114 - 118 F ) is just a no bueno. This puts me into a unhappy state. When Mother Nature decides to allow us back out, then I know we’ll see some beautiful wildflowers coming from your end. Just relax and don’t worry about anyone else but yourself. Keep it simple my friend. 😊

Great image. I love shooting moving water too. It’s like an odd combination of landscape and action. Enjoy your backpacking trips. I’m laid up with an injury at the moment so your vids may be the on,y way I get out this summer.
