Thank you Peter for the walk around you Maples, they must be most bonsai peoples favourite trees, you have such a wide variety of Maples all have their own reason for being on bonsai collectors benches, I have found this year the leaves are much larger and the colours more vibrant, the Deshojo I have are quickly turning green which is a pity but they can be enjoyed whatever colour they are. I always amazed at your memory for naming the Maples, unfortunately my memory is getting poor due to my age but yours is still sharp, your enthusiasm for bonsai is as strong now as it was 30 odd years ago.
Greetings from Alabama, USA. Thanks for the walkthrough! Always love your garden tours. I must be acclimating to your airport noise as I honestly didn’t notice it in this video, but I see several others commenting about it! 😆❤
Love you, love your videos, just beautiful, always moments of peace, just peace. Thank you so much for all you do to supply all of us with this much needed peace.
These beautiful trees remind me of Japan ! They have such stunning maples, even the ones grow in the park are shaped as bonsais. I would love to grow as many varieties as possible but they don’t seem to like Brisbane weather 😕
This really hurts! 😂😂😂I am trying to grow maples in central Oregon, USA, and we had a warmer spring week in late April, so I planted my 3 new maples of 3 different types. Then, the weather turned cold, again and freezing overnight for the past 2 weeks, so they lost their leaves, and I don’t know if they will live! Yikes! Your maples are glorious!
It is such a pleasure to have that kind of quality and tranquility at your fingertips in everybody's home. I truly hope to visit your astonishing place on my next UK trip and to bring that fascination to my son. Thank you so much Peter for showing and sharing your knowledge.🌲🌳💚
@@peterchan3100 That is very kind of you Peter. It will take a bit more time for him to get older (now approaching his 2nd birthday) but as we know from Bonsai, beauty needs time and patience. Have a wonderful day!
Thankyou Peter..another timely video...i say that as the Desojo I have..is looking really scrawny at the moment...it was beautiful in early spring...then came some fairly cool winds.. and that put paid to the young leaves..hence it's looking quite SKELETAL at the moment !and now i know why, thanks for another educational and uplifting video, all the best to you n yours ! Gordon.
What would you say are the dimensions of the "chicken plucker" pot? I also lean more to the larger size bonsai and have quite a few but not sure if I'm keeping them in the right size pot. Thank you, my friend, for the helpful resource you provide for us all.
I found an interesting Wych Elm near my house recently. Dug it up, clipped 1 thick root and dug out the rest. He hasn’t survived. Most trees I dug up made it but this beautiful double truck Wych elm didn’t. I was disappointed.
My young maple tree suffered from late frost and all the opening buds died. After nothing more happened I planted the tree into moss and put a plastic bag to not let it dry out. Is there a chance that the tree will survive? For at least 4 weeks now there is no sign of new buds...
@@peterchan3100 its so cool to get a response from you I love your content, thanks for your response. So anytime I hear mountain maple, its Acer palmatum or an unknown seedling?
I have never seen some of the plants that you have shown us today, they are truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and gardens!
Wow what a beautiful sight. All the color of the maples. So beautiful. Thank you so much Peter. Love your walk abouts.
It's always a pleasure having a tour of your nursery! Thank you once again!

What is the process you mentioned you tried on the green maple? Otherwise, your gardens are beautiful and make me want to further refine mine.

I have the same noise with the airport nearby. Yours sounds bigger than mine. I’m very fond of your work and appreciate learning from you. ❤

Dear Peter, what a shame, that you cannot deliver to Germany anymore. I love your trees 😍
Sorry about that - Blame Brexit
Beautiful!! 🌱🪴🍁

They are usually very tough.
@@peterchan3100 I love your work. Thank you for making my life more enjoyable!
@13:03 It could be a Hikasayama. (日笠山)
Thanks for the walk
The trees are amazing! A credit to you.x
Hey mate love your videos as always but I notice every now and then the audio sounds distorted in my ear :(
I hear they respond well to thread grafting. Maybe oneday you could show us that?
Lets get a video showing your favorite top 10 trees!
They get sold from time to time.
Your Deshojo in the garden near your hoyde looks like my Acer Palmatum Corallinum. Pink and golden yellow. Very nice.
My young maple tree suffered from late frost and all the opening buds died. After nothing more happened I planted the tree into moss and put a plastic bag to not let it dry out. Is there a chance that the tree will survive? For at least 4 weeks now there is no sign of new buds...
Should it be covered with plastic? Why did you do that? I'm no expert.
Have the same issue with one of mine it's still live and bendy green wood just no leaves and all the buds are dead
Late frosts are always a problem for maples. Just have to be careful. But they dont usually kill the trees - just the leaves get damaged.
That airport tho 😮
Peter, what is your favourite maple cultivar?
Deshojo and Mountain maple
Is that building in the back where they park the planes?
Indeed!

Like Benichidori😍
