ASs a young boy, we were stationed in Germany. I was digging in the dirt and I pulled out a Hindu meditation bell Pictured on it was Kush grass, an elephant and a palm tree. It may of been dropped by Gypsies sometime ago.

Saw the original image of the bell in another website as well. If you noticed the hands are in Namasthe posture (folded hands) that is a humble gesture done while praying. So does not look like demon, but a divine being. Observe the face as well, that shows devotion. So more resembles like Hindu Garuda.

It wouldn't take that much to get factual evidence for the origin of the Bell today. An XRF scan would determine the exact composition of metals and that can be cross referenced by a chart to see what regions made metal with that composition. That would give a precise time and place for the creation or it would point to an unknown origin which I think is implossible.

I’m a skeptic but I want to believe meaning nothing can be ruled out anymore. Hinduism is so old its origins are too hard to differentiate fact from myth. Same goes for the Sumers. Having a Garud Dev on top of a ‘ghanta’ (bell) is nothing unique. It is said that Vedic mantras reside on the wings of Garud Dev. So when it is flapped then it emanates the mantras. If the bell is indeed 300 million years old, it should be as old as a Manvantara. A Manvantara is a time cycle as per Vedic traditions, lasting for 308.448 million years. This then should definitely be before the period of the "flood", as indicated in Hindu puranas and Jewish traditions. Could be that one of the Hare Krishna devotees in 1960 or 70 dropped one of their bells (I have one that looks a lot like the one found), and it got mixed up in the mining process and covered, and then mined.

It wouldn't take that much to get factual evidence for the origin of the Bell today. An XRF scan would determine the exact composition of metals and that can be cross referenced by a chart to see what regions made metal with that composition. That would give a precise time and place for the creation or it would point to an unknown origin which I think is implossible.

I’m a skeptic but I want to believe meaning nothing can be ruled out anymore. Hinduism is so old its origins are too hard to differentiate fact from myth. Same goes for the Sumers.
