An 80Nm hub motor on 20in wheels should make this a good hill-climber!

Yeah, it’s moving more weight with the fat tire and dual battery setup, but you’re correct that it’s fairly powerful.

Great review, I used to live in Vancouver and I know that beach and area very well. I was comparing this bike to the Magnum Pathfinder, and this VBike is available in Toronto where I live now.

Depressing that it only ships in Canada

Yeah, it’s a bit of a tease that way, sorry… I suspect the US could see a similar product someday. Maybe VBike would even ship there if it’s popular enough.

Similar to the radrunner, just a little nicer, also a little more expensive. It even sounds the same, maybe same motor? Nice bike.

I see the similarities in frame style. This is like a blend between the RadExpand folding model and RadRunner. Neat to see dual battery on a folder, that was new to me :)

@@ElectricBikeReview yeah Ive never seen that either, I didn't even realise it was a folder until you pointed out the slimline hinge.

so many of these bikes look alike u don't know if you are buying an original bike or a rebranded bike.

Ya, my bet is that most of these look alike bikes come from the same company in China.

I have no intention of buying a folding ebike, but I do find your reviews so interesting!

Looks like a fun bike but I bet it's no fun to work on with the battery and cables routed thru the frame like that.

I reached out to them after I saw your comment and hopefully they get back and we are able to cover the bike. I really like how it looks and appreciate the full suspension setup! Do you have any other cool electric bikes you’d like to see covered?

Cool they are out of Toronto, personally I feel like its such an ugly bike but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    • @ElectricBikeReview

It’s neat to see a local bike from Canada! It handled well and I think they did alright with the two battery packs. It’s always a question of where to put the second pack so it looks good but stays low, center, and isn’t too vulnerable to getting kicked ;)

@@ElectricBikeReview yeah for sure I am just very picky about the looks of step through models. The aventon aventure looks good for a step through model.
I have a Rize Blade 2. It was shipped to me in Toronto from Vancouver and costs 3300 to my door (partly assembled), looks great and has some decent specs, would love to see you do a review of it!

I agree, tomato soup red is not an appealing look.
