We lived in a house just like this back in the early 70s when my brother was in the army at fort Killeen Texas. Nice

I lived in these. We had the tile flooring. It was really nice watching this video and going down memory lane.

Half of me wants to see if we can switch houses and the other half knows how tedious that would actually be 😂 I should probably do a video like this when we move because there needs to be more accessible videos for the housing layouts

The military sure has changed in 30 years, my quarters, and I was in e-6 housing on ft.bliss was nowhere near this nice, we had a large living room dining room area small kitchen backyard with the overhang two bedrooms and bathroom all built like a rancher, one floor plan. It was spacious but dated that’s the word I want to use dated. Back then they didn’t give BAH for off post housing. Everything was paid work except phone and cable. And we had to keep the yard up as it had inspections. I just wanted to see how housing has changed over the years since I was in. When I went to Germany I just stayed off the coast so I don’t know what their housing was like. I know that hotel they had spouses stay in was really old. When I was in Frankfurt. Before I got sent to Augsburg. I was in the reverse because I was the service member and my husband ETS’d so he was basically my dependent. I can’t believe after all these years we are still together, lol.
PS as far as bugs we had tarantulas and flying roaches . That’s Texas for you.
