  • Far enough away for solitude, but close enough for convenience, the Mill Creek Corps of Engineers campground provides the perfect location in the Branson area. In fact, of the many campground choices on Table Rock Lake, it is our favorite...so please don’t come here...we want to still be able to get a spot. 😊 We hope you enjoy our comprehensive review of this wonderful place to camp.

    We saw you at Mill Creek this weekend! My kids kept telling me to say hi because they thought it was so cool to see "youtubers" haha every time you walked by they would yell "hey mom here come the youtubers" and they loved your glowing dog leash!!

    I look at a lot of TH-cam videos on campgrounds and I hold your channel up as the gold standard. Your reviews are concise but very informative and always of high quality. The fact that you guys have hit a lot of the places near where I live (Arkansas) is definitely a bonus. Before I hit a campground I always check to see if you have a video on it 🤣. I know you guys will give a great representation of what to expect. Please keep the content coming!

    We have stayed here twice since watching your story. We have stayed on both points. Honestly don't think there is a bad spot in the whole park. We stayed at spot 43 the wind can be strong on the point .didn't put our awning up. Stayed at site 15 which was also lakefront. You have direct lake access to swim or fish from this site. Love your recommendations. Keep them coming!

      Sounds like you are enjoying it just like we do! You are correct in that all of the spots there are great. We typically try to get out on the peninsula. Happy camping!

    Hello from West Plains, it's is our favorite also, but summer is tuff time to get in there, no worries, their's lots of other campgrounds in the area. We also have another favorite, if you haven't been there yet, Cranfield in Mountain Home Arkansas or Bull Shoals White River these are awesome places, thank's for sharing.

I've been watching and sharing you're videos, we've been wondering about some of these places, so now you've helped us find new places, if you haven't already seen Moab, we just went through there this summer, awesome places to visit. Hopefully meet you 2 someday, we've meet some really great people in our own backyard (Missouri) 😊

    Really enjoy watching your videos. So informative and fun. Like you we have ebikes so I was wondering if there were some nice biking trails down around Branson or Arkansas. We’re trying to plan a trip somewhere and not sure where. At first we thought maybe Michigan but the weather up north is too cold and too windy to be biking, so we thought maybe somewhere south. Need your help if you don’t mind. Never been to Missouri or Tennessee or Arkansas other than on a highway passing through. Hearing bad reviews from some family members doesn’t help either ☹️ The beautiful setting in this video feels like heaven. Oh, please help. How is the weather in Sept/Oct down there? We’re from around Chicago so the humidity doesn’t scare us but I wish we could be little more comfortable. Would love to hear from you, thanks much 😊

      Fall is a fabulous time to visit Branson and northwest Arkansas! The Table Rock Lake area in Branson is spectacular (I'm actually sitting outside the RV by the lake at Old 86 campground as I type this to you). It can get cool in October, but we camp all the through the first week of November. As far as biking goes, Missouri has two really great rails-to-trails projects. Look up the KATY trail, which goes all the way east/west across the state. There is a shorter trail in SW MO called the Frisco Highline trail which is also nice. Near Bentonville, AR, which is a great town to visit with lots of fun foodie restauarants and has the spectacular Crystal Bridges art museum (totally free), there are TONS of great bike trails. You'll have your choice of paved trails and mountain bike trails, depending on what you prefer. If you like to hike, NW AR is one of the best places to hike in the midwest. I hope this helps you make your decision, and maybe we'll see on you an adventure sometime! :)

      Today is an Adventure Day Thank you so much for this speedy reply. Well, my hubby has his eyes set on Michigan, so I think we will be heading that way at the end of this month. We do want to do South West trip next fall, so maybe we could visit Branson and Arkansas on the way back. Then our neighbor mentioned that Branson is all decorated for Xmas, so maybe we could just drive down in December and stay in a hotel for couple of nights. We’ll see how it goes. It maybe too cold up north so we maybe home sooner. Would love to meet up with you guys and your doggie some day:) stay safe and happy camping😊 ps. the campground we will be staying in is also called Mill Creek, but in Mackinaw City, Mi 😀

      We love camping at Mill Creek, in fact, we camped there last weekend in our new travel trailer. We should have more vidoes coming soon. Our favorite site is 46 (or 47...anything along that side for sunset views across the lake).

    How does this campground compare to Old Hwy 86?

    • @TodayisanAdventureDay
      @TodayisanAdventureDay  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We love Highway 86 campground as well and made a video on that one a few months ago. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/DvJJTmt7EWM/w-d-xo.html
      As far as comparing one to the other, we give Mill Creek a slight edge because we love the views, the orientation of the campsites (especially along the peninsula where most sites are pull-throughs), and it happens to be a little closer to our house which makes it more convenient. Both are great options!

    Can we camp on a tent?

    • @TodayisanAdventureDay
      @TodayisanAdventureDay  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have seen tents there occasionally, but usually they are set up next to an RV. I’m not sure I remember seeing just a tent on a site. It would certainly be allowed.
