This was brilliant. I had a boatload of fun even if race 3 felt like I was trying to guide an overweight shopping trolley through a hedge maze.
Apart from the third race where I felt like I was racing the USS Nimitz, I had a great time in my Lefork :)
Are you sure that's fair? The ship has a turning radius of about one kilometer at 20 knots and it's only about 1/3 of a kilometer long... (Sorry, my cousin served on it when I was a kid so it's funny how much I can remember. Just don't ask me what I had for lunch yesterday or the name of the new guy at work.)

Was a lot of fun for each one of us except Ninetails lol shame there are no replays thanks to the game being broken because there were a lot of battles that were far from Alex, and also a lot of spectacular crashes happened because of those curbs
Race 1 was a tad frustrating haha, good fun though haha

I feel sorry for Longbow getting rear-ended by Alex in that second race. 😹
I benefitted from others having bad luck in the race in the end, but it was frustrating in the moment since I was just braking when the car ahead did
Know what I miss? The videos where you guys start with massively different PI cars and start at different times. They were always entertaining because of all the overtakes and defending.
We'll probably do reverse PI race at some point, but that game mode doesn't really exist in this game I don't think. Though it also didn't in FH5 (it existed but was broken and they never fixed it)

As an American who owns about the closest thing to a mid 2000s Vectra sold here I'm looking forward to this.

@@TheArchaicMedia Close. Saturn Aura XR. Same chassis (Pontiac G6, also) but styled so close to the Vectra you just about have to check the badges to tell them apart. The Astra is the same platform with a slightly shorter wheelbase. It's always fun when games include things related to ones you're familiar with.
@@DamnedSilly The platform of the Astra is Delta, not Epsilon, though.
And researching the Epsilon platform, I found quite a few cars that seem to be more or less badge-engineered (Opel/Vauxhall/Holden/Chevrolet Vectra), while others like the Caddilac BLS or Chevy Malibu have a few features (mostly the lights front and back) that slightly set them apart from their brethren.
@@Timberwolf69 Delta is Epsilon with a shorter wheelbase and torsion bar rear suspension instead of independent.

That was three great races, and the change in the strengths and weaknesses of each car throughout the event made it really interesting, although I think that was more by fluke than by design.
This was unbelievably fun to watch! Awesome racing guys!
There really need to be a modern BTCC game, the only one I played was TOCA Touring Car Championship back on PS1

Great racing, but should have pulled over for both Longbow and Aaron, pretty dirty right there
In the actual BTCC, race 3 only reverses up to the top 12 not the whole grid which could stop the issues you had with ballast.
Such a dhame the btcc iloved watching the early days specifically when the primera came and dominated was my first car and my second and my third lol one ovf them was even a red top rare as hens teath god i mis my primeras

Think you should do a championship with the format, maybe use the tcr cars as well (maybe not the golf) ballast works well and also maybe change format a bit with the reverse grid or a longer race in race one for example

I had a decent run, but in 3rd race when I was on softs I got taken out by a Ewan. It was very frustrating

How are your soft tyres lasting 5 laps? Usually mine are all yellow and useless after 3 laps I'm wondering what I'm missing
Private lobby doesn't have accelerated degradation I think, so soft will drop off after 15-25 minutes

I hope that now, that Motorsport games lost BTCC license, TOCA will look at offering not-exclusive deals for cars, so we could get NGTC machines into more games. I just want controller-centric simcade which would allow me to race shitton of NGTC cars (with decent BOP) against each other.
Was amazing fun to watch. I guess you could get to making your own BOP for closer racing in the future. Recreating IRL BTCC reverse grid might help in keeping competition more "fair" (IRL only random number of places on front of the grid are reversed). I hope there will be more real series "recreations" once multiplayer gets more stable and filming crew levels up more cars.

your cars all have the same setup problem: useless understeer, you could have done way better with better adjustment
