What's your favorite section to play?!
Wyatt Stav is there anyway you could make a video on how to have hand and foot independence? When I play, my hands are fine. But sometimes my feet just get confused and play what my hands play. And it sounds terrible haha.
1st breakdown part was pretty fun to play and a little bit challenging at least for my level

Hey Wyatt, i hope your holidays were as awesome as they were for us down here in Va... I got to spend atleast 1more Christmas and New Year with my Dad! He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last Feb... Dont remember if we talked about it in email. But my Poppa played the drums, and helped guide me on my path to playing drums... anywho, thank God, he even turned 70, Jan 8. Docs said hed only have bout 3 months... coming up on almost a year now!! We have music in our souls!!! Im proud to get to show him your vids... and even at 70... he loves watching your video's with me!! "This guy is awesome!!" He says, never drops the sticks... your stick flips... Awesome times we get to share watching and learning because of you!!! Im 30 now, and it blows me away, that he wants so bad to jump behind the kit still at 70 and beat em up!! Even tho the cancer moved into his brain... he wants to play so bad still!! If his brain and body could just work together!! He was recently deemed incapable of taken care of hisself anymore. But he knows you by face, and most of the time, your name... so you have and continue to make a diff in peeps lives buddy!! Keep up all the hard work!! Very thankful for all you do!!! You help bring atleast 1 very awesome Father and drummer, and his son closer because of OUR love for music, and drums!! Ill never forget these times... Im eternaly grateful for the this time i still get to spend with him watching your new uploads, and coming back to see what youve got cooked up new for us!! Take care buddy!! Your brothers down in Va and in music. Frank and Blake Hayslett!!!

Thank you so much for this! I want to cover this but I’ve been stuck on that intro fill when I go over the whole thing. I’m torn between doing what you do or doing the constant 16th note double kick under it (because my double bass isn’t quite up to speed...). Either way, I gotta practice. Thanks again!

I like how you split up the feet in the intro and 2nd verse, excited to try it like that!
Amazing job dude. However, next time you do a lesson could you possibly break down some of the more difficult parts or some fills extensivley. This could just be my amateur drummer in me talking but paticulary in the introduction, the slower tempo helped but a part where you play out of tempo and very slow to show what you hit first then play the part properly. E.g "So crash and snare together on beat one *does it* then two kicks. Doesn't need to take too long. You could also just play along to a way slower tempo then close to normal than the regular. However, as I said this is probably cause I am new to metal drumming. Either way you are awesome and thankyou for the lesson.

oh haha, um I doubt it to be honest.. I don't ever talk about this.. but the hardest videos to make from a production stand point are my song lessons.. and they get next to no views.. that doesn't mean ill stop doing them!! the small group that uses these videos are very supportive and loyal... coming back for each lesson! its just not something I can easily go back and do.. So I won't be going back to songs.. as much as just breaking down future songs! im so sorry I can't get to that song. perhaps I can release the cover without the song in it?
