Just googled how to convert play structure to chicken coop and. yours came up. NICE job! Really enjoyed your video and nicely narrated too! Feeling inspired now!
I love this. Great job. Looks great painted too. Very functional for the girls. I'm in the process of building a coop out of my old fence as I had hundreds of boards lying around making a mess. Been working on it for months and so close to finishing.
Fantastic! I was telling my husband this was what I wanted to do... and he was skeptical! We are stealing your idea! Question: is the nesting box opposite the screen door wall or is it the wall near the rope/chain ladder (opposite the revolving door)? Also, what is estimated total out-out-pocket costs (plus your labor of course!)?
Happy to hear it inspired you! Steal away! The nesting box is opposite the side with the screen door. In my playscape it was the side with a solid "climbing wall" that I built the box into. I bought the lumber and supplies in spring 2020 before prices went up I think and it was just under about $350 then. I also used some scrap lumber I had lying around so your cost may be higher now. The hardware-cloth was the biggest single expense. There's a cost breakdown in the description above. - Good luck!
