It depends what kind of terrains you will encounter. Trailhawk will not be able to compete with Thar / Gypsy. But anything less than that, even standard Jeep Compass 4*4 is very capable. Trailhawk is even better than standard Jeep Compass 4*4.
Absolutely wrong tyres . Not a problem with the car. You could have the best off road car in that situation, with the same tyres and it would be stuck, no doubt whatsoever.
No Sir. Two things I experienced in this. First is I did not have AT or MT and still it came out. Second I did not switch of my traction control while I entered the lake. Because of which the moment wheels started spinning, electronics cut the engine power and thts where it got stuck. But in end it did come out. Do watch the Part 2.

Absolutely. In this case i forgot to switch off the Traction Control off, hence the jeep was cutting off power with each tyre slip.

the wheel wells are too small to accommodate larger tyres. Also with bigger tyres the on road performance goes down. Have put ATs tyres in stock size.
