    Great little car. Owned a 73' Spider 2 liter. Mechanically fragile, but easy to work on. Treasure your Alfa. Viva Alfa Romeo!

      Thank you! We definitely had to do some mechanicals on the car when purchased it. But it's been rock solid for a year and a half and approx 2500 miles! We certainly treasure our good fortune every time we walk into the garage!

    What a beautiful car and thanks for sharing the video. It's a privilege to own one of these classics. I'm so jealous

    Beautiful! Curious about the CA blue plate. The original plate would've been black.

      Hi Tony, well spotted! You are correct. However, this little baby sat on Carl Block's showroom floor until Feb. 20th, 1970, when the original owner purchased it. So even though it was registered as a 1969, California had made the switch out to blue plates by then! Very typical of Alfa's, Ferrari's and the like back in the day. Can you imagine trying to run a business like that today? BTW - He paid the equivalent of $30,208 in today's money. I'd pay $30k today for this car brand new!

      @@genauautowerks Interesting. Thanks for the insight! Found this, for anyone interested in the evolution of CA license plates: www.lamag.com/driver/the-colorful-history-of-california-license-plates/

    Do you have Glen work on it?

    • @genauautowerks
      @genauautowerks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bruce! It was worked on by Bob Wandell of Import Doctors in San Ramon. I love Glenn Olivera but haven’t needed any professional services yet since we acquired a year and a half ago. What do you have?
