This was a awesome video, great choices on music and clips! I could definitely tell that you are a professional at this. But hey can I make a suggestion when it comes to having to mic somebody up quickly, LOL I know how it is I've been there a few times.
May I suggest you getting the Sony ICD-TX650 IC Recorder
for your reception speeches that way you don't have to worry about mic people up. it's a pretty good recorder. It might not be as good as the lab mics that you use, but they work really good for reception speeches and when you need to mic somebody up quickly. if I have wedding and they have a DJ and they use a wireless microphone a lot of times I just take a microphone sleeve, put it on the mic and then slide the recorder down in the sleeve. I will send you a clip and In that clip, you will see where I use the mic and a mic sleeve, also you would notice that she breathed a lot in the mic that's because I put the mic up to high I don't put the mic up that high anymore and I have not had a problem with people breathing in the mic, but if you want to put the mic up that high to make sure you get good sound then I'll probably suggest getting a mini lapel Headset foam windscreens covers.
other ways you can use it; you can stick it in their front jacket pocket, or have them to hold it like a mic, also it could be a backup mic, that you can put on the preacher just in case your other mics fail.
