Sorry to be so controversial, but that is the most beautiful engine I have ever seen!
Such a beautiful model! 👍 British steam locomotives are the most gorgeous ones of all.
I’ve got the blue one ‘as built’, haven’t unboxed it yet. Peter your presentation is excellent. So much more enjoyable to listen to a brisk down to earth commentary, instead of some TH-camrs who ramble on, clutching at silly humour. Good luck
Thank you for the the kind words. Glad you enjoyed
Excellent review Peter of a truly stunning loco in an absolutely gorgeous livery. Am i right in guessing that the 812 is the pride of your Pre-grouping fleet? Stay safe and take care, regards Gary.
Cheers Gary, glad you enjoyed. Pride of the pre grouping models would probably be the 812 but no overall pride of the fleet. That would have to be the W1
A brilliant review there Peter of another great bachmann release it looks fantastic in that blue livery, have a great Christmas and New year.
Cheers David, Merry Christmas to you to
What a stunning model Peter!! Thanks for sharing this video!! Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2022!!! Cheers Onno.
Cheers Onno, same to you
Absolutely beautiful, and absolutely out of my price range :(
Now ‘Sold Out’ at Rails of Sheffield :(
Luckily I preordered mine when first announced at ModelRail 2018, SECC Glasgow. Arrives next week as I upgraded to the DCC Sound version :)
Excellent review of the Bachmann Caledonian Railway 812 Class 828 Peter👍👍 And have a happy Christmas.
I do hope I’m might get one as this is one of my favourite 0-6-0 tender locos. Fun fact, this locomotive is coming down to the Spa Valley Railway during 2022 season and I’m so excited to see the loco in action on multiple occasions.
Cheers Joe, merry christmas to you to
Would be great if she visited Severn Valley again or visited the great central
Yes I agree that 828 should visit the Severn Valley as well the Great Central. Maybe 828 could visit the GCR for their steam gala next month before coming down to the Spa Valley.
That's lovely peter 😀 happy Christmas and a happy new year 🎉
Thank you, same to you
Fantastic review Peter, you have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
Hopefully you'll get some new model railway items tomorrow.
Cheers Jordan, merry Christmas to you to
Hope you get something for your railway tomorrow
Fingers crossed. 🤞
Interesting the packaging is similar to Hornby, yet they are so heavily criticised for t being 'bad'. Really nice loco, congrats!
thanks for watching, nerry christmas
Dunno why Hornby gets criticised for their packaging, Bachmann's is no different
morning peter
one thing i will point out i think your flicking fire/glow box should work on dcc ready
but yes it a fantastic model in my opinion one of bachmann best i would say
merry christmas and a happy new year
keep safe arp
Pretty sure flickering firebox onky works on DCC, got told that before mine arrived and seen others running on analogue with no glow
Merry christmas
@@class47peter it works on mine analogue
@@class47peter only the red LED will show up on DC but the flickering effect with both the red and yellow LEDs will only work on DCC.
Nice locomotive a shame I carnt afford it
@12:05 Pardon, what kind of coupling is that? Do they make them for HO/OO?
Its a Hunt magnetic coupling. They are produced for OO and N and you can buy them from West Hill Wagon Works
A magnet coupling? Where is that from?
West Hill wagon works
