You've got a gift for teaching AE. I can tell you know way more than is in the tutorial but you give it to us in manageable bits and know where people often make mistakes. I'd love to see an introduction to cameras in AE. I know you could teach us some tricks that would make it so much simpler. I hope you keep making these great tutorials!
Hey, I am planing a camera tutorial within AE, but from what I've heard is, that there will be an update to that system soon! So fingers crossed it will be more intuitive!!
Clear and concise tutorials also best I've seen, any insight into how the tracking data is scaled when exported to a 3d application would be a great help.
@@flo.motion The software obviously has a sense of Z depth in the way it scales the motion tracking markers within the field of view, but it would be logical to be able to define real world dimension to a distance between markers. Similar to the grid and linked dimension in the vanishing point filter in Photoshop. I'm bringing the data into 3ds Max and I just tried a uniform scale of the tracking points and camera, but the warping in the camera FOV made it unusable?
hey, you should definitely be able to do so!! Is it a stationary 360 video or is the camera moving? If it is still on a tripod you don't even have to track!!
Thank you for all your tutos, they are great!!! I have a problem with the light at the end. I can't reach the source and manipulate it. It is here but it's not appear on my screen. I can't turn it around my text. Do you have an idea?
This is great, thanks - Do you know how to track a vector drawing as overlay? lets say a drone footage of a empty field, and i want to show where the houses could be build or drawings of the lots... how you understand and maybe know of a video that could help
hey, if you watch part 2 of this series, that should help! Definitely use mocha for it!! This one uses the exact same method: th-cam.com/video/-NrigyIy8jg/w-d-xo.html
This is the best series about motion traking I've found so far. Thank you!
Thanks you so much for the nice words!!

Hey! Good question, I also had issues with that before. i think unfortunately it is not one factor for all applications, but different for each one...
