typing rougelikes are so hard to come by which is a shame because i love typing. this looks neat!

Asteroids, but in a typing game, neat! Haven't seen one in a while. I can type fairly quick, but i must admit i have to watch my hands which is obviously bad in games liek this. Should learn to type without looking, games like this could help with that.
It is also an interesting challenge to stream and comment during playtime as you are forced to think and produce words that have nothing to do with what you want to say, and I guess our brain is wired to be able to handle only so much at the same time...
I wonder if there will be language packs for this, typing in specific languages would be a challenge by itself...
Oh buddy... It was tough keeping track of it all. It kind of felt like having two conversations at once--one verbal and one written. What a trip!
Agree that we don't see these too often. Last one I loved was Typing of the Dead. Had such good times with that game via the keyboard that was released for the Dreamcast (of all things).

Mavis Beacon Teaches Typekilling~
That's what I grew up with. I hated that "game". I had a hard time with typing home-row and I had to practice for typing class in high school. I still only semi-use it all these years later.

Typing class in high school... So many memories flooding back in. Mostly bad ones. 😂
@@GoatForceGaming The joke is that I had a character in a MMO online shoot-em-up called Cosmic Rift (successor to Subspace). Mavis Beacon was that character, and she always used the the Null Scout, a spider-like vessel (successor to Spider from Subspace) that could hide itself visually and on radar. It could also force any close-by enemies to get teleported to a random location on the map! The game called it a Warp Field Generator, but I called it the WTF Generator, from the reactions I got to using it. So... my Mavis would wait and watch for a player to start... drifting, which meant they were typing a message for chat. And while they were doing that, she'd sneak up to them, and unload her full arsenal upon them to blow them right up -- and if she failed, she would WTF them away before they could get satisfaction. Mavis was also fond of laying a cluster of mines in a well-trafficked area and trying to repel enemies into them -- which worked way more often than one might expect! She went 376-1. I had told the game chat repeatedly that I would stop playing this troll character as soon as she was defeated. And well, she was... by a player who was suffering immense lag, and avoided the WTF pulse I sent at them, and crushed my gal on the spot. Gave him props in game chat, and immediately deleted the character. Was a helluva fun run raising the ire of folks and dodging (sometimes coordinated amongst several players!) attempts to kill Mavis off. Was a bit sad she went down to someone's net issue, but that seemed pretty appropriate, somehow. The cheeser got cheesed!
Would a yawmeter display a real time view of the yaw of an aircraft during flight?
I don't know for sure, but I would hope so! 😂
