Everything is going to be okay. It’s VERY stressful and traumatic, I know. I had mohs surgery almost in the same area on my nose in March. The repair was done with a skin graft and it is all good now. I pray a speedy recovery for you. I hope there is no bruising, (I had none). Thank God the cancer is GONE!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Waiting to be called to surgery is much like waiting on the tarmac for an airline departure. Many delays are just part of it. many life lessons throughout life's ordeals.
God IS so good! I went through the 5FU treatment twice in the past 10 years. My derm saw a place and decided that I use it over the entire face. The one thing she said that stuck with me, is you don't want to get skin cancer on your nose, and I can see that for obvious reasons. Glad you did not have to have a skin graft and I'm sure in time your scar will heal very nicely. God bless!
I’m glad the repair went well! I commented on your previous post but the comment must have been removed by yt. I’m recovering from bcc on the tip of my nose, mohs and a plastic surgeon. Just today. They repaired with a cut down my nose and curved around hole so the could pull skin around to cover it. No graft! Yay! It does sting and hurt some now. I was awake for the procedure and heard the sounds and smelt the smells. I wish you the best on your healing! Thank you for sharing!
We have been through this same thing together - how crazy is that? I’m so grateful there is a cure and you and I both did not need extra skin graphing! I’m uploading my post op day 1 now and so grateful my nose is not too torn apart!

It is so important to do self exams being aware of any changes to catch it before it spreads.

Was Srt the non surgical option not an option? I go for biopsy soon and am terrified of having Mohs.
I was unable to find a facility near me that offered it.
My mom had mohs on her check at 90 yo. She did great. Positive thoughts and prayers for you.
