Lovely to see how you are getting on with your flower farm after all your problems, you have been missed. Your flowers are amazing just like you, keep going like the strong young woman you are. xx
I can't tell you how happy i am for you that things are getting better... i thought we were going to loose you and your awesome videos. 2024 has been a tough year for many of us. This has really cheered me up seeing all of these beautiful flowers and grasses, seed heads and stunning foliage. I love the Zinnias i might have to give them a try next year. Hoping the rest of the year is fruitful for you!! Thank you for the time and effort you pout into your videos.
I have talked to lots of growers that have struggled this year babe, mainly with slugs, that plague was biblical! Well done you for hanging tough through it all. Top marks and glad to see you back posting
What a spectacular number and diversity of dahlia! Your garden must be amazing this time of year, and I like your thorough, detailed tours and enthusiasm.
So happy to see you back Sarah. I personally think your bouquets are the best I’ve seen on TH-cam. So much so I bought the tutorial video on how to put them together from you. I still can’t get them to look like yours though! 😂
New to your channel but looks to me like you are doing an amazing job in tough times. The thing to remember is that you are never alone in a tough time.
So good to see you back and looking happy! It has truly been a terrible season plus the added problem you had with rabbits! You should be very proud of yourself.
Yay!! So happy to see an update from your farm, everything looks so abundant and magical! Thank you so much for sharing. Can't wait to see the market update, I am sure your gorgeous bouquets will sell out :)
Sarah, I agree, this was a difficult year. This is my fourth year growing in the United States. I also have tons of flowers, but not a lot of markets to sell them in and the growing part is easier, but only when it comes to marketing. Definitely time for Plan B.
I'm so glad you're back and that you did not give up! If you don't quit, you win!! Thanks for sharing the beauty Sarah! Would love to see you make some of those beautiful bouquets.
So happy that you’re still growing cut flowers after seeing your sad video earlier. My struggle this year has been weeds. I got behind when we had to fly out of town while my brother-in-law was in the ICU and then another trip for his funeral. Since then I have been weeding like crazy and then heavily mulching to reduce future weeds. It’s better now, but I’m 77 with arthritis so I can only work a limited amount in summer heat. New beds require a little of weeding, no surprise. Gardening must be really hard when you count on it for income. You must have real grit to continue. Congratulations. You made your own luck.
So pleased last season really went well for you and hope next season is even better 😊... I am going to try more face up sunflowers again and am trying to find out if there is any benefit in pinching these.....I've googled etc. but can't find an answer....wondering what you think ??? So looking forward to seeing lots of your videos this season 🌺🌹🌺😊
I have really enjoyed your harvest! Thank you for sharing. I really admire all you do. You have a beautiful farm setting and I wish you so much good fortune. Let us know how the market went. Love to you.
Very happy to see a new post I’ve learned so much from your channel especially when it comes to bouquet presentation and wrapping, love your content thanks
Well I have not sold a single flower this year, no market for them so I have been donating bouquets to memorials and benefits and will have to move to a bigger community if I want to sell the flowers I am growing. In the mean time my home is filled with beautiful bouquets that I enjoy and my friends have bouquets to enjoy! I went to a work shop on mushroom growing, I can't remember what kind as it was some time ago. They had constructed and round "pen" kind of like yours but out of upright logs, filled it with compost, and notched each log with about 5 notches going vertically and inoculated the notches. It worked out great! good luck and I love you channel!
Hello my love… so happy to see you triumph over the tough start to the year. I really did feel for you. Stunning progress ❤ what is the name of that beautiful fluffy purple flower looks like purple babies breath.
@@bloomandgray oooo thanks. It’s a stunner. Such a good addition. New to gardening since lock down and your channel has taught me so much. Keep going with your content. You have no idea of your impact. 🧡🧡🧡🧡
@@bloomandgray sorry love I just looked it up and it is perennial. Which I assume means frost hardy would you recommend sowing as cold flower variety now for early pickings next year?
Good to see you back Sarah, and a fantastic field of flowers! I have lost so many seeds this year it's unbelievable, and I've used different composts and pots. After the wind last Thursday night, half the twinwall sheets got blown out. (One is still missing🤔) I will keep trying.
So glad to see you back at it on you tube!! hey which dahlia is that the first lavender colored one with the monstrous stem length?? Its pretty incredible!
Nice to see you are continuing on. I watch an American guy who grows his own wine cap mushrooms. His channel is Jacques in the garden, How I feed my mushrooms so that they feed me forever. He has a few videos worth watching.
Hi Sarah! I am glad to see you happy and satisfied. Please say a few words about the scent of the flowers you use in your bouquets. It is interesting. Good luck! 🌼
Love these videos. I definitely need to.work on spacing

Hi Sarah. I think your winecaps will do great. I got 4 big flushes growing them on willow chips. Unfortunately I found out I reacted to them and they caused me to be quite sick. I spoke to friends who were more knowledgeable about mushrooms and they assurred me that I can still eat other mushrooms. Fortunately that has been the case. Still loving your videos and yes I agree that growing plants has been a challenge this year.
Everything is gorgeous. More importantly, you seem happier. Coram Deo Flower Farm has great videos on how she markets her flowers - very specific including How to Use Social Media for Your Flower Farm - Part 1; A Deep Dive into Marketing Your Flower Farm - Part 2; and Marketing is Everything - Profitable Flower Farming Live Discussion.
HI Sarah, have you thought about growing edible flowers? It's my dream so I have looked into it. There is a huge market out there, pubs, cafes etc but also wedding cakes are another lucrative market. Also dried flowers such as roses seem very popular for cosmetics, candles etc. Jan Billington used to have a huge business, she has now downsized but is now doing courses. She was Certified Organic which makes a difference but the flowers were not cheap!
I just seen your this amazing video this inspire me to have a go in growing flowers for my home and for my friends. Could you tell me if you grow sunflowers and what type please. The ones I have seems to scatter pollen on the table, is there a time when to pick the flowers so they don't do this. Thank you for taking the time to do the video.
I just watched an old video that I had not seen where you talked about BRIX testing. Are you still measuring your BRIX and are you finding that useful? So glad to see this post today!!!
Ugh, I had the worst luck with marigolds this year. I am thinking it was maybe the seeds... But most emerged with very weak stems and those that did come up strong... If it rained, their stems basically lost their strength and would never come upright. Perhaps I was growing them in too hot of conditions? Any insights, friendly viewers?
Do you have farm markets there or consider selling online or sell wholesale to other florists you should check out square space for good ideas yo market
8:16 I’ll not be direct sowing any seeds in 2025. I lost all of my 2024 seeds to slugs and had to start from scratch; sowing in cells and planting out seedlings. 😢
me too! im in Scotland and between the weather and the slugs I simply cannot direct sow anything. its too hit and miss in a small space too. good luck!
I can’t tell you how happy I was to see you post again. I’ve been so sad to think you were sad and might quit. You keep at it girl. You are amazing.
