Maya is the typical overprivileged wealthy Texas girl. She is wealthy because her father allegedly is a lawyer who defends drug cartel clients. Her family is friends with Roger Nores who is now suing Liam's father for 10 million. Roger allegedly has a criminal past. He allegedly had his own dealings with drug cartels and clandestine gun running. He was allegedly banned from entering Argentina for time in 2005. Liam was under Roger's sponsorship in Argentina and look what happened. Any one that has the alleged past Roger has knows many unsavory characters. Liam was done away with and the narrative the press picked up on is the narrative the hotel put out, which I find rather unbelievable. The book makes the writer seem like a hero which is something I find hard to believe. I won't be reading it.

I have heard that this book was written about the guy that Maya was dating before she ever met Liam and she decided that the book would sell better if she tweaked it to make it sound like it was about Liam. it's all for the money. The book gets bad reviews on Amazon.

You have some very enlightened ideas about words and how they affect our world. I unfortunately feel this woman's words released into the world at the same time Liam was working hard to change a trajectory that was destructive. I'm a dv survivor and once out of it I wanted and still don't want anything to do with them., Let alone call attention. She could have let her book be what it was , fiction. Her viral video posts decimated a man's life. True events or not this women contributed to the death of a talented, genuinely kind, but tortured man. Not okay.

I am calling BS. BS #1: Just because she wrote a book, does not make it facts. She says he was reliant on her and she had to be in his eyesight in order for him to function. If I recall, he broke up with her. He is so reliant on her that he supposedly cheated on her, broke up with her and moved on the next day. I call her BS. BS #2: HER FATHER IS A LAWYER. THE REASON SHE CALLED THE BOOK NONFICTION AND NOT A MEMOIR IS BECAUSE LIAM WOULD HAVE SUED HER FOR EVERY DIME SHE HAD. SHE HAS NO PROOF.

liam was in the dark place during their relationship, everyone from his close circle said he was the nicest and kindest guy they met. thei relationships were at the wrong time, half of what he did was not directed at her, it was his demons., like hallucinations during axe scene. this is not a story of a brave lost woman escaping from tyrant or monster. this is a story of a spoiled rich girl that was dumped (he ended things with her) by a struggling addict and she decided to expose his every dark dirty secret (you don't make fun of his addiction or don't tell whom he fought in 1d if you just "share the story to help others). she released the book when he released his new song first time in 5 years(mind you the song is him apologizing to her), she subotaged his any further career. he relapsed and died. happy end for her ig

Sorry, not buying that Maya Henry was forced to do an abortion. In the end the decision was only hers and she could had made another choice. She still had a family despite the pandemic and a network of people back home. Above all she had the financial means to take care of the baby as she surely had made some own money while modelling. This is my story: my dad did not want any children because of his horrible experiences as a Holocaust survivor and he already had a child 10 years older than I with another woman. My mom went through several abortions. She was even younger than Maya Henry at this point, my mom had no family to support her, she had no financial means, she did not even had a place to stay if she would leave my dad and the country she was living in had zero support for single mothers. This happened in the 50's and the 60's so there was still a huge shame to become a single mother. My dad very clearly told my mom that she would have to move if she would go through with the pregnancy. She knew she would end up homeless in the streets if she did not go through with the abortions. This happened 6 times. Each time she hoped my dad would change his mind. He didn't. But finally she decided she will give birth the seventh time she became pregnant. My dad threw my mom out. She managed to find a tiny, cold 1-room apartment above a food store. My mom shared this room with a female that needed rent money and this was all my mom could afford. She stayed there through the pregnancy and the first two months of my life as a newborn baby. After two months my dad told her she could come back home with the baby. I know my dad loved me dearly through his whole life but he was damaged, very damaged by his experiences in the concentration camp Auschwitz. He was the only one from his family to survive the Holocaust. My point is that if Maya Henry really wanted the child she had all possibilities to go through the pregnancy despite Liam Payne asking her doing an abortion. She could had left him, stayed on her own and went through with the pregnancy.

Liam shared his experience of being controlled for 5 years, of being addict, of living with bipolar, and he was BULLIED and made fun of. and when book came out, it got worse, he was really a scapegoat, so pardon my french, if it's hypocrticial that everyone belived maya immediately and praised her "bravety" when they forced this man to be suicidal for YEARS

She didn’t get out of it, he broke up with her. At the time she said she was blindsided by the split. I’m taking this book with a pinch of salt. Personally I think she started a smear campaign against Liam for revenge and to market her self published FICTION book.

I'm so glad you enjoyed Han Kang! I just finished my Korean Literature MA and my dissertation was about her work "Human Acts" in translation. It's a very good book as well, though I would recommend you to research the historical context beforehand, it might be easier to understand that way (though Deborah Smith worked really hard to make it more accessible to foreign readers, she's amazing!). I really adore her writing as well, it's so deep and meaningful and I enjoy reading it knowing I do not have to understand everything she is writing, I can just exist within that space for a while. Her Nobel prize win is really exciting! That hopefully means many more of her works will be translated :)

Maya henry destroyed liam reputation .liams record company dropped liam because of bad publicity. She destroyed liams career .she had no proof of all her allegations. Liam payne died exactly like what was written in her book , she could have kept the baby if she wanted it . Liam didnt want to be with her or have any children with her .liam had a son . He ended with her she was to controlling . Maya henry was obsessed with liam jealous any women he was with . So she decided if she cant have him no one else can .she took revenge . Thats a motive M. Mayas family was involved. Justice for liam . Allegedly

I can never able trust a person who put their whole life for Internet gossip. So many sensitive and disturbing topics she wrote on her book. She absolutely have the right to share everything she went Through but that time someone told her that don't publish it right now or don't expose him infront of the whole world because he isn’t doing well at all but still she didn’t bother to expose and humiliate him. I believe personal life should be personal not for internet drama, memes, topic for discussion and all. She have all the resources to take legal action against him. There're police, court, law overall if she actually wanted justice then she would've gone this path instead of internet/book. She clearly wanted attention and sympathy from everyone, and in that process people trolled Liam Payne so badly, poor guy was already dealing wtih so many shits, people even criticized him for going Nial Horran's concert at Argentina. She added fuel on this drama more. If a victim actually wants justice and be free from all the shits they don't act like the way Maya Henry did. All for internet gross.

Hey that was super gutting that he influenced her to get an abortion...I wish she had the child for her, and still cut ties with him afterwards. But really, something wrong with a partner or even a recently ex-partner who can't show up for you in your hard times in life, eg. her medical needs, times of greatest distress. That is outright selfish behavior.

She started writing a ya fantasy series titled "The rosewood chronicles" and continued to work on the series when not uploading on her channel.
