I'm so glad you enjoyed Han Kang! I just finished my Korean Literature MA and my dissertation was about her work "Human Acts" in translation. It's a very good book as well, though I would recommend you to research the historical context beforehand, it might be easier to understand that way (though Deborah Smith worked really hard to make it more accessible to foreign readers, she's amazing!). I really adore her writing as well, it's so deep and meaningful and I enjoy reading it knowing I do not have to understand everything she is writing, I can just exist within that space for a while. Her Nobel prize win is really exciting! That hopefully means many more of her works will be translated :)

Wow, I'm so glad to be introduced to We Will Be Jaguars, it sounds absolutely amazing, interesting and insightful. I'm really excited to read it! By the way, you mention the audiobook narrator is really good ; is there singing or music in the audiobook? I never read audiobooks but I might try if there is.
I still haven't read Wandering Stars, I think I'm going to reread There, There first.

There wasn’t any singing, but some different native calls and chants. I went on a whole deep dive of Nemonte’s interviews and talks after reading…she’s so fascinating!
