I'm from Brazil and I have incredible memories with this film and its songs. I was very happy thanks to the Christmas magic of this film, it's a shame there's no snow here haha. But today all that ended, here at home my family hates Christmas, I believe it's because of the death of my late grandfather 5 years ago, because he was the one who made everyone happy and still worked as Santa Claus making people happier. happy.

This year is the 20th anniversary of the polar express coming out. I watched this at 8 years old in the theaters. It’s One of my favorite Christmas movies ever ❤

This movie is beautiful and brings me back to simpler times. Unfortunately I watched it too much as a kid, and now my family really doesn't like watching it that much. I wish I had someone to watch it with.

I still remember the film. The uncanny sicky sweet animation disturbed me to no end. It left a significant scar that took a long time to heal. Reading these comments reminds me of how annoying the kids at my school were. They loved that shit. I still have nightmares.

I thought of typing a super long text to express my feelings about this film. Eventually I deleted them most of the time. But I think now it's time to express my them out loud. Some random period of time when I was little. One winter break, I just sat on the sofa, scrolling through channels. And on the movie channel, I discovered this film. I don't exactly remember what happened next. I just kept watching it when given free time. And someday, I wanted to try something else. I totally forgot about this film for at least five years. Then suddenly, I thought of something. The intriguing plot that I didn't recollect much back then, the characters, the scenes and the music. It all came back to me, then I started searching maniacally online for a film with a boy and a giant steam train locomotive head as a cover. And there it was, lying in the dust. Then I watched it, memories came back, I cried for a long time. I decided to cherish the film forever. Now, every Christmas eve, I watch it again. I'm an Asian. The kind of Asian kid that sits in a crammed, bright classroom learning rigid things, following rigorous time tables. But there is something that my heart longs for. An escape to beauties and wonders. And to me that is Christmas. A cozy chair, a cup of hot chocolate, a TV playing The Polar Express, and my mind drifts. To the mysterious north pole, imaging. The film cheers me up, give me something to anticipate, something worth fighting for. Now that I'm older, currently studying in an international school, and Christmas is near. The previous long and endless battle had blurred my goals and sights. After this self-examination, I realized what I was fighting for. I hope to get good grades and immigrate to some western country. A country that snows in winter and respects Christmas. Here I express my sincerest gratitude to The Polex. Thank you for supporting me and giving me a life purpose. Although I'm highly interested in breaking down films, peeking just to see their meanings. I never did that to The Polex. The film meant so much to me. I always believe that the film has secrets that I can't and will not probe. The secrets lie within the north pole, within my battered but believing heart. So in the end, this comment means little. But I'm sure you guys can all get the gesture of what I'm saying. My love for The Polar Express and Christmas is not verbal. And I wish you all an early Merry Christmas. May you still believe.

last year I had my window open as I watched this film. Christmas lights and tree on, hot chocolate in my hand, and a snowfall outside. It was the perfect ambience.

My mother loved this movie. She passed away just under a month ago from pancreatic cancer, so this will be what's left of my family's frst Christmas without the matriarch and holiday master of ceremonies. I think I may go see this movie again this Christmas season, and buy a second seat just for her. Miss you mom.
