Hi, I'll bet you can't diagnose this AC problem!!! 2011 A6 C6 2.0 tdi. It does blow ice cold, then when I speed up blows warm & foisty then back to ice cold... it's had a new fan belt, tensioner & alternator clutch pulley very recently but it had the problem way before this work was completed. What do you think it is? Could it be the pressure sensor? This was changed 3 years ago for an after market one. Could it be the fan, which does work by the way?

I fitted one of these with no issues. But the following day I am getting a 'driver's door fault ' and a 'parking brake' warning on the dash. I clear the fault codes but they appear again straight away. The car drives fine. Any ideas?

This might sound like a stupid question , but do we connect the wires for the new micro switch anywhere, or we just find someplace to put it.

Hello, I had the hot air A/C, got the 0256 code, bought an aftermarket sensor from NAPA which did not work and then I went to Audi and bought the OEM sensor and that didn’t work either. Now I’m out 2x sensor price and it’s still throwing 0256 and still no A/C. Now what?

Hi, I have Problem with gearbox in my Audi A3 2.0TFSI Quattro (year 2016). The car shifts gears well, but when I switch the gearbox to position P, it does not lock the car.

I'm getting the selector lever error on a mk8 golf gtd... arguing with parkway VW derby at the moment as this occurred whilst under warranty but now out of it...there original quote was £711 but now saying that was an error and it's actually £1440 🤬🤬.... but they want to replace everything...in your opinion do you think it would be just the micro switch???...car drives perfect...I feel there robbing me... cheers

I have a 2011 Audi A4 B8 2.0L 170bhp Quattro TDi with AC not blowing cold air. Bought a replacement low pressure sensor from Audi spare parts after fault code of 00256, fitted it but still not working!!! Any Ideas on this (oh and I had it regassed before the problem and was working fine and blew ice cold) ???

I have similar issue getting that scanned code: P0642, started about 4 months ago intermittent no throttle, car idles bad, cleared the codes then run it for a few days and again the problem, I decided to changed the throttle body, problem went away for 3 months and came back, when scanning I have again that code : P0642, and many other throttle body and accelarator pedal codes such as: some throttle body codes such as: P0638, PO121, P0221, P2181, P2683, P2181 which some point to waterpump-thermostat, but no leaks. When I do a VCDS scan and step on accelarator pedal, I see voltage moving normally for the pedal but for the throttle body, no change nothing moves when pressing the gas pedal? So not sure if I have the issue you are mentioning here. It's an Audi A3 2015 Quattro. Thanks

Hmm. I got 00256 and bought a £30 switch which I've just fitted. Error code keeps coming back and still no air con. No other codes. When i took them old one off, gas wouldn't stop coming out so i had to be quick getting there new one on. Reluctant to spend £80 on an OEM one in case that's not the issue?

Is there a similar fix for a 2019 q2? Same issue coming up but gearbox housing is a little different!?

How much should I be paying for this fix please? I've been quoted £360, which seems high for the amount of work involved and the cost of the kit.

I was going to change the oil filter/cooler housing, have you fitted any of them?

I bought a sensor that several websites claim should work. Get a fault code about the sensor when i went to a workshop. How should you actually know which part will work?

I just cleaned mine used loads of silicone and stuck them back on

Tps won't give you part numbers.. They know you will find other means to get certain parts...

Im having a similar issue with my 2013 q7 supercharger. Changed upper and lower radiator hoses and its still leaking. Can't really find the leak because its hitting the belt and throwing coolant everywhere. Can i be going through the same issue?

aha...but...did this today to change the rear pads on my A180d 2019 , worked like a treat getting the pistons retracted etc. but when i came back and re accessed the workshop menu it simply would not put them back , it said 'conditions not met' and fault lights flashing (red brake insicator and a yellow one), eventually i took it for a short drive and hey presto it recified itself. have you got any info or advice on that situation?

I had the light come on for coolant and refilled it. The light went away but I did notice a small leak on under the engine on the left side.. could this be the issue for my vehicle too I have an 17 Q7 premium 2.0
