I have thoughts on the Michael/Michaela "controversy" which i wanted to write somewhere... and, since i enjoyed very much to watch your reactions, i'll just write here! The introduction of a real queer relationship to bridgerton is very welcomed and even expected by many, especially since the show was already preparing the audience for it. But as i've heard many times, this made a lot more sense to be Eloise's or Benedict's story, and it looked like the writers were preparing us for that too. Not to mention that they introduced a queer arc for Benedict in season 3, just to "erase" it right after in season 4. In addition, Benedict also said that he wanted to be free for now, so I wish that they saved him for season 5 instead, and season 4 was about Eloise or Francesca instead. So the ending of season 3 and hints to the near future didn't feel right to me. At least the order could have been changed... I heard that season 4 will start two years later, so maybe that could be season 5, and we would follow Francesca instead (or Eloise) in season 4 because that's what they left us "stressed" about, not Benedict 😅 But since season 4 will be about Benedict, I don't like the choices. It makes me wonder if the writers are trying to avoid criticism by not changing the main plot lines (straight couples only), and decided to change Francesca's relationship instead because she will be away for a long time anyway, and her season might only happen in 6-10 years (if at all)... It feels to me like a cop out to me... More importantly, I was truly enjoying the neurodivergent representation with Francesca and John, but instead they made her lack of need for the same level of physical contact to be simply justified by her being gay. As opposed to being due to something like asexuality, which is statistically more common in neurodivergent people, and it can only mean that the physical part of their relationship would take longer to evolve, for example... something that i could relate to, for a change. Sadly i'm not looking forward to season 4 now, but that's good because it's going to be out only in 2026 😵‍💫

I couldn’t get into the book at first but I read it again and finished it in like two weeks or so. I’ve been watching other people’s reaction to the movie and I have a huge crush on Nick (Prince Henry) 😊

So, if you liked this, I go "watch Ever After" and/or "watch the 2015 Cinderella". :p Both very good romances as well, though (admittedly) nowhere near as well shot at this movie is.

Seems most miss that Penelope and Colin’s wedding is a big social event and it’s scheduled first. Francesca is putting Violet in a difficult position with the queen. LD already told her it’s not a good time. And… There is so much going on. Also Cressida was horrid to Daphne, season 1. I seriously think she’s incapable of being happy. The only enjoyment she seems to get is from the pain of others. She lacks empathy and authenticity. I know it’s the lack of control in her own life and how she was raised. But still

Hi, I don't know if anyone has commented this yet, but there is a retelling of the classic "Pride and Prejudice" made in Bollywood called Bride and Prejudice, it was one of my favorite versions as a child, the songs, the dances and the entire setting made the film something super New to a story that has already been told several times before, it's been a while since I rewatched it because it's hard to find in my country, but I highly recommend that you watch it

You Need to react the te miniseries LOST IN AUSTEN!!! WHERE MODERN GIRL AMANDA PRICE ENDS UP INTO EWARDIAN PERIOD AND HOOKS UP WITH DARCY. While Elisabeth Benneth is gone through the portal to live in modern world. AMANDA'S and Darcy's story is A MUCH MORE FUN, ROMANTIC AND ENJOYAPLE

Awww! Loved your edits & reactions. I knew of the book (I read a lot of m/m romance) but wasn’t interested until I saw the trailer. So read it before the movie aired. I didn’t like the style of writing either (hate present tense), but understood it’s Alex’s brain. I love Amy & I’m delighted you loved her, too. Most people latch onto Zara, but I’m Amy all the way!

I love this movie! And your reaction is awesome, as usual. I did not like the book at all, I think I finished it and immediately forgot everything. (In my case, it was because it had too much politics, and the sex scenes were weirdly fade to black, even while they were happening.)

Sweetie, have you watched the Pride and Prejudice Alternative Ending and just chose not put it in the reaction video or are you still missing out on one of the most lovely and sweet moments of Lizzie and Darcy (now married!!!)?

Thank you for your reaction. I also could not get into the book. Maybe try reading the book now. It gives a lovely background to the movie, especially the emails between them. The reason why the cake situation was such a big deal, was because of the international embarrassment to the Royal Family. This is also why Zarah had such a reaction to them in the hotel room. If messing up the cake put the trade deal in jeopardy, violating their prince will have Britain declare war 😂😂😂

It took me a minute to actually like this version... I kept comparing it to the 1995 mini series version with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle.. they were absolutely wonderful and Colin was an incredible Mr. Darcy. But I have grown to appreciate this version very much and love just how sweet this Mr. Darcy is... But still... that moment when (Colin Firth) Mr. Darcy comes out of the pond on this estate is just totally fire...wow, he is just stunning.. Anyway... maybe you will check out the limited series version from back in the day and share your thoughts... Loved your reaction to this one!

Hhahahaha your reaction is everything I like of this movie hahahaha . I’ve watched this movie more than 50 times , and the book read it more than 10 … hahaha the main characters are sooo good, the scenes so beautiful, the colors, the music , it is the only movie that doesn’t need a kiss to represent love, it makes it the sunrise . Darcy’s eyes , and be shy is everything that is good 😌

Hello, have you seen the movie Tarzan The Fearless?

I love that Penelope not only got the guy she loves, but she also healed her generational trauma. The Featheringtons becoming a family as loving as the Bridgertons is the one thing I never knew i needed until they gave me. All the Featherington girls marrying the greenest flag men in Ton. I love the epilogue scene with the Bridgertons and Featheringtons together. And Colin fits so well with Albion and Harry. Amazing. This season is my favorite. I even enjoyed the side plots everyone hated lol. Like, Will and Alice, Francesca and John, Violet/Marcus/Agatha, I even enjoyed Cressida going from villain to tragic character. I think the change is permanent, there will be side plots from now on in order for the audience to carr for characters we don't know very well, like Francesca. I honestly didn't care for her before this season, now I just want to get to her season asap.

Kates dress with the sari (sp) was my favorite.

Jess Brownell said in an interview that Francesca’s sexuality reveal doesn’t invalidate her connection with John. She said: “I want to be clear that we’re not trying to undercut anything about her relationship with John. She has a real connection with him that is based in companionship, friendship, respect and common interests, and it is a very valid form of love. What we’ll be continuing to explore for Francesca is more about how important or not passion is to her in a relationship.”

I think you also really noticed some cute things with Prudence these two episodes!! I love how emotional she seems that the wedding. I love how happy she seems when their mom says that she's proud of them in planning the ball. 😊🎉 You can tell that's really all she wanted. **Also I love the concept of the epilogue is actually Portia's HEA because all of her daughters married golden retriever husbands and have fresh babies.😂❤

Hands down the best reaction to this epic love story. Me and my sister watched this in our local theater almost 20 years ago. We loved it so much that on our way home… we turned around and got tickets again for the last full show of the night 😂. Safe to say… we have since watched it “a few more times” since then.

People stop comparing Pride and Prejudice to Brighton. There is no comparison between a Jean Austin masterpiece that has ruled over all love stories of stories. Brighton is simply not good. Normally if you like Brighton, Pride and Prejudice is NOT for you. A classic can never compares to modernization with lame ideas

It's frustrating for me that so few people ever allow that Whistledown did anything good or useful, let alone important, for the ton. Everyone focuses on the few cutting remarks and not on launches, compliments, baby or wedding, or new couple announcements, protecting people who deserve it, or even outing people's misdeeds for the greater good. Social commentary is not just gossip or just mean. It reflects the society back to itself like a mirror (!) So any negatives that are there are often because they already existed, not because the writer created them. Colin finally realizes this when talking to Cressida, but we as the audience seem to dismiss itin our rush to punish the characters whose stories we don't like. Nothing Penelope ever wrote was a lie, it was just inconvenient or unflattering truth that we blame her forso we don't have to look in the mirror (!) I wonder how many people who judge Penelope for her Whistledown persona have looked in that mirror at themselves. Do they realize they are actually mad at themselves when they attack her? I do.

I really like how you phrased that. How Lady Whistledown is Penelope’s voice. Not only does Eloise not realize that, but Colin will struggle with that as well.
