I remembered owning this game when it come out and playing it thinking, “meh, it’s okay. Not great but it’s ok I guess.” But then couple years later Battle for Bikini Bottom came out and I was like “DAMN! This is what a SpongeBob game is supposed to be! This game is freaking awesome!”

Still hoping for a remastered version of this game 😭

I hope one day that you will update and make new version of this video as once Nickelodeon all-star brawl 3 finally gets revealed and released along with covering even more Nickelodeon crossover games that you forget and have not add in this video.

I played the Gameboy Advance version as a kid; a very simple and enjoyable 2D platformer. The game encouraged multiple playthroughs by having multiple endings. Loved that game to pieces.

Honey Queen *nor* Metal Mario replaced Waluigi, neither of them are to blame for him not making it, Waluigi *was* in fact planned for MK7 but was cut because of time constraints (there's a rumor he was cut for being "too creepy" but that's entirely untrue).

I think Honey Queen should be bought back. Mario spinoffs need more Galaxy reps that aren't Rosalina.

It is a shame Honey Queen didn't get very far. But she was a fairly obscure character in a game that A) already had a small character roster with more popular characters left out and B) a game sandwiched inbetween two juggernaut Mario Kart titles. Honey Queen isn't the strangest pick you could have, but since MK7 came after Galaxy 1 & 2 and it was her first (and only) playable appearance, it feels bizarre. She's not cross-promoting a new game nor representing the Wii era since Rosalina more commonly fulfils that role. That unused badge heavily implies she was considered for Tour, and it's unfortunate she was removed no matter whether any progress was made to implement her. If Wiggler could make a comeback and become a popular character, it's a shame that Honey Queen may never get a second chance.

Mario Kart Wii was the last genuine Mario kart game in my opinion. 7 & 8 both feel like lemons in a basket of apples.

I always believe that the reason why Honey Queen was so disliked is because of the Waluigi situation, there were more characters affected, but Honey Queen was by far the least established and most obscure of the whole cast of newcomers put in the spotlight as stolen space... so she was the most vulnerable to be affected by the negativity, far more than Wriggler and Metal Mario (a pick that feels done in a pinch, was gonna always be an easy character to add), which were the other weird picks made for Mario Kart 7.

I think the problem with 7 is not that it couldn't decide what it was but rather they didn't build on the previous entry. That is difficult to do when you're powering down, but look at Super Circuit and DS. Super Circuit, despite moving back to 2D, had many more tracks than 64, and some amazing music to go with it. DS, although with fewer characters and slightly worse visuals, doubled the track number from Double Dash and added online play and amazing single player modes. Mariokart 7 tried to build, by adding gliding and underwater, but what it took away was so much more essential to the Mariokart experience. The lack of versus mode, the lack of distinct and recognisable karts due to clunky customisation, the lack of Waluigi, made this feel less like Mariokart, because it didn't have all of these essential elements.

Just to be clear! Imo Waluigi wasn't replaced by Honey Queen... he was replaced by Metal Mario! I tired of pretending he is not! Metal Mario is a Texture Swap with new Sounds and maybe some new Animations! Honey Queen is a new Model and all shit! She is alot more valid to be there that Metal Mario

Honey Queen should return honestly. The Mario series has a distinct lack of female characters (mob characters like Koopa and Boo are more neutral) and Honey Queen would be a nice addition. Pauline was once the most obscure character in Mario history but has become a mainstay after her return in Odyssey and has now bolstered the rather paltry selection of female Mario characters. I honestly would expect HQ to return before we get Dixie Kong, Tiny Kong, or Captain Syrup, Penny, and Ashley from the Wario series. But only time will tell. Either way, we need more Mario girls for a wider variety of choices.
