Im tired of vanilla fanboys. Vanilla wasnt even 40% of a fully finished game. Its not as good as everyone claims it is, there was so much wrong with it. Classic + in my eyes was supposed to finish the game, and provide as close as possible the vision it had in development, and then add to it.

The Dev's aren't trying. The lack of communication has been the biggest issue SoD has had since P3. It's not a resource issue that they refuse to communicate with the player base about what's going on and the direction they are aiming for. It's a laziness and arrogance issue. SoD is dead.

Classic+ is like Modern Warfare 2 remastered multipayer.. Activision will not release it to bait and switch

Wowhead claims that for sod, phase 7 is the last phase, naxx the last raid, and instance = not raid, but I see no confirmation of any of this from devs.

Are they saying that once 20th Anniversary Classic reaches TBC it won't upgrade anymore like Classic Era?

What the hell is a new raid in Karazhan crypt is if it is not "Classic Plus"?

Make vanilla+ content, expand map and senario with new dungeons, quests, loot ect on unreal engine, then peaple will be exited and hyped. How many times players will play over and over again classic then tbc then wrath.... 😮. Make something NEW!!

Please don’t be that hypocrite streamer following the other streamers. Blue post literally came out and stated SoD isn’t ending or in danger. I’m actually concerned with Era because that community will be at risk via Fresh Servers coming out

I thought that initial comment on the Classic+ situation was pretty funny… I was one of many in my guild who were in shambles after what felt like a very lackluster announcement (I only play SOD; no interest in fresh era/hardcore, MOP or retail). After we saw that blue post, the sentiment started to change, and then the datamines started coming in, and now I can’t help but think with all the work they put in for the world buff and flask items (for instance), that SOD will be moving to a permanent server where they will continue to make content for it. I’m about it.

Blizzard has to step so lightly with classic+. Classic players are going to hate it more than anyone ever hated anything in the history of hating things. Let's make no mistake here, the classic player-base is about the whiniest bunch of toxic players since SOE introduced EQ premium servers. I don't know how Blizzard wins. Reconstructing people's nostalgia... Man, I don't know. They finally have good vibes all around WoW, except for classic players, they hate WoW, and hate THIS Classic the most of all, it would be so much better if it was THAT Classic instead, or maybe the OTHER Classic, but not THIS Classic. Not the one you like either, or that guy, he likes the wrong Classic too. I don't know that Classic or Classic+ will ever have good vibes, I genuinely think it's impossible for Blizzard to get it right. I'd love to be wrong about that.

It seems they are not putting any more resources into SOD. Based on that I would expect the new “instance” as they called it to be Scarlet Halls not a new raid.

How the mindset has changed over the years.. 5 or 6 years ago you all have been crying for official Vanilla servers and now you cry that those are happening again... no one cares to be honest, there will be plenty of people playing Fresh and going into TBC. You have HC, you have SoD🤮, you have MoP coming out, you have Retail.. Classic Plus may come out some day.. if you want that, you still have Turtle WoW which is great.

Id call myself a classic Andy. Played 2019 classic, played SoM (instead of playing TBC), played SoD. But I will not play no changes classic again. I knew that already after SoM, that I wont go back to these boring raids

I wasn’t a huge fan of the Warcraft Direct. Felt like…one step above a wet fart on any hype/big announcements

They failed at learning what ppl really want out of classic+ with sod with how bad they released sod. Classic+ will be bad with w.e data they got out of "testing what the users want" with sod

so fresh classic is the new Season of Mastery. That mode died in about 1 month after launch.

My Hopeium will never fade! My dream was just the announcement of Classic + a little sneak peak for 20 secs. So, Warcraft Direct was a 3/10 for me and the 3 points comes from the Warcraft Remastered. Everything else, no hype for me.

Streamer hardcore is a fad just like it was last time world of petri flask all over again no thx but classic fresh into classic tbc sign me up and classic mop screw streamer hardcore.

Am kind of tired of seeing the Wow community so negative about everything in Classic. People are never happy with whatever blizzard does. Just go and enjoy classic if not hardcore or sod if you don't like any of the game versions go and cry somewhere else. Epic video once again Thank you.

player housing is always terrible in every MMO, I don't know why it's always so hyped up. This will likely be a failure. The problem with player housing is always.. you make some shit and.. then no one comes and sees it. Or maybe you convince a couple of your friends to come see and they come the 1 time and that's it. it just ends up being a pointless/disappointing feature.

yeah sorry for your disappointment there. Though i did call it saying i don't think they will mention it at all till people were raging over it not being touched upon. unless someone behind the scenes pulled another blizzcon moment where they don't want any sort of info out yet. i don't know but i'm mainly happy on the retail stuff sure though glad SoD did get promised content of the scarlet dungeon and karazhan crypts deal. here i thought they scratched it off but that's not the case. now the question is, is it gonna be a tier 4? or a tier 3.5?
