Nice vid. He might have not been that strong against other bosses. Tho as a player challange he is certienly harder than most main game bosses imo.

Considering how much mobility our little Slimey Oil Knight has it´s a good thing he is on the more brittle side, else it would just be frustrating to face him as a player

Why no malenia?

This guy was the easiest of the 11 main bosses, but still took me 5 attempts. I was incredibly disappointed with Demon Prince, when the game just allowed me to face tank every single move, first trying the entire fight. With this boss, I still had to learn the moves. Just for reference this guy took me about the same amount of tries as Darkeater Midir...

Y'know, Midra being kinda weak made some sense, since one of his major advantages against players, the madness effect, doesn't work against other bosses. Plus, he moved slow, and his ranged attacks were infrequent. The Putrescent Knight, however, just feels odd. It seems like his only advantage against players is his speed. Everything else about him is super weak, like your pinned comment says. I really like his design, though. Actually, he reminds me a bit of Ulcerated Tree Spirit. Fast boss that players have trouble with, but gets beat by other bosses pretty easily.

The Putrescent Knight is probably the weakest DLC boss. As a major boss character, he has an extremely low HP comparable to Maliketh's. Additionally, he has zero defense against three different attributes and even has a weakness to one attribute. His poise is also very low. These stats are worse than those of bosses in Dark Souls.  His battle isn't about stats at all; it's purely about skill and luck. If he's unlucky during the fight, even some of the weaker bosses in the main storyline can defeat him. His most powerful skill, "Centaur Separation," and his phase transition ultimate move, "Ethereal Fire Spray," don't even have super armor, making them easy to interrupt. Standing still is akin to asking for death, and his damage output relies entirely on hit-and-run tactics. During the Centaur Separation, the horse that splits off is not actually his horse but a clone, another entity entirely. This can be observed at 5:30 and 23:00.

Radon needs to lift more rocks, lifting rocks is the real gravity magic

He loses to the other ancient dragons, but beats Placidusax! That's crazy! I adore seeing little Midra at the start of these fights. It looks like the bosses are beating up a weird child. But yeah, if bosses weren't immune to madness, he'd win a few more fights.

So many of these arenas have water in them, that can't help. Poor Midra.

Giving them equal scaling really shows that most DLC bosses are not that much mechanically stronger than base game bosses, it is all just Scadutree blessing inflation. Well, except Radahn. Compare to Ds3 where Midir and Gael mop the floor with basically every boss even with equal scale.

I think the Midra is mainly being held back by two things: Frenzied flame bursts only hitting once, unlike the incantation version Bosses being immune to madness

Where the comments?

It can only be said that Midra is indeed the weakest Lord of Frenzied Flame. Slow attack, low poise, low damage. And he don't have any ultimate skills. Even he doesn't really like to rush in, he just likes to spray Frenzied Flame. Possible highlights: 1 If Rennalla is not far away, Midra will easily stand there and spray Frenzied Flame. Then after Rennalla hit all eight magic bullets, he knelt down directly. Then the above segments repeat infinitely. Finally, Midra was instantly killed 2 When fighting Rykard. When Rykard's vengeful soul is used. Midra knelt down ten times in a row and couldn't get up again in the end 3 Sometimes he needs to rely on his first stage to deal damage, and with luck, some bosses can be defeated. For example, when fighting Radahn.

Have you tried submitting your videos without using tags in Japanese or Chinese? It might be worth trying.

So Elden Ring had a duelist universe. A god of creation and a god of destruction. Sort of like Elder Scrolls with Anuiel and Sithis.
