They did the thing mordhau (sword fighting game) did, they failed to properly account for a 'skill cap/skill Plato', at some point you NEED as a developer to consider how good you want a very competitive and dedicated player to be able to get at a game. Turbobuild was probably the mistake that hurt fortnite the worst, it's what honestly created the problem Fortnites build mechanics had their skill cap set far to high and as a direct result casuals and intermediate play suffered greatly from "I just can't play" sKiLl iSsUe is a bad mentality here as people leave and the game dies

I play build mode, but I love zero build because it let's my gf experience fortnite with me. It's perfect for people that aren't that great at the game and prefer to go up against bots for easy dubs.

there’s a reason for placing a cone and floor on a ramp and editing through it, it’s to cover angles. can’t ramp up and get high ground if you get beamed

C4S1 is by far my fav season of all time

I stopped playing FN on the ps4 chp2 season 5 then finally started playing again chp5 season 1 on a computer with NO idea how to build so I'm glad zero build exists and I also had the same though of The whole point WAS the building!

I think Ch1 S3 was great, Ch2 S3 was unironically peak and very underrated, Ch3 S3 was just really mid and bad compared to the rest of the chapter, and the other seasons 3s I didn’t even play so idk

Besides chapter 2 every season 1 was the best season of the chapter

I dislike sweats so i vastly prefer fortnite putting me in bot lobbys 100% of the time its quite relaxing.
