I’m confused about the 2nd set of corners. I made 1” cut outs for the 1st set (2” foam”). What size do I cut out for the 2nd set?

Hi, I'm currently installing a Medi Heki 700x500 in my Ford Transit Connect LWB, but I'm facing an issue with the roof profile, which bends in an arch of about 25 mm. This curvature makes it challenging to secure the Medi Heki frame tightly to the roof. I'm looking for any experiences, thoughts, or suggestions for inspiration. Right now, I'm experimenting with wooden frames for the interior that match the roof's profile, but I'm still struggling with the outer fitting of the Medi Heki frame, which leaves a gap due to the roof's bending. Seems like you jump to the boxed corners on the fold without showing the side seams….not sure if I missed the sides?

Explain the last two corners again. I don’t understand the measure there. And if I need my zip on the short end, does that change the way I measure?

This is a great tutorial and I’m ready to go except I’m still confused about the seam allowance. My cushion is 5 inches thick so is it still a 1 inch seam allowance? Not sure if the seam allowance is a standard size or determined by the other dimensions of the cushion.

do you finish the edges? stitch or glue to avoid loose threads?

For the length measurement, why is it L+T+Ss, not L+T+T+Ss? Surely there are 2 thicknesses to be added, just like the width calculations?

So you used 65amp anl fuses? I was going to get 60amp but wasn't sure. I think it comes with 1 60 amp fuse.

when you do the second set of box corners, after putting the zip in, have you already sewn up the seams?

Why is it so important to have the zipper go around the edges? The length of my cushion is 57 inches. Do i need the longer zipper to get the cushion inside?

I need to sew covers for 24” x 57” x 2” inch foam that needs to be rolled up during the day for our camper. Can I omit the extra batting to make rolling up easier? Can I use Velcro instead of zippers? If so, what adjustment would be needed? I can’t get the long zippers where I live. Thanks

This is ok tuturial but Ive never seen boxing the corners first. Ive done many jean totes and cusion covers. You can actually cut 2 pieces adding the extra seam allowance. I would sew zipper in first into the 2 flat pieces or if still going with this one piece idea sew in first but your sewing into a tube? Then sew sides. THEN box the corners. Having zipper also go around the edge is a stress point and the zipper could pop open at those edges?

Please, pleae pleaaaase can you do a proper van tour? I'd absolutely love to see the shower drawer in action and everything ♥
