MagGuts Review for Original Shield!
This is a review of the +1 and +2 Magguts for the Shield stock seven round magazine and the 8 round magazine. This product delivers larger capacity for this well rounded pistol that can now be found very inexpensively on the market. This is a great alternative to a more expensive double stack micro nine.

Glock 42! Reliable and Easy to Shoot!
มุมมอง 3.1K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is an older review of the Glock 42 which has been edited to comply with TH-cam Community Standards. I believe the G42 remains relevant in the .380 market, even with lower capacity, due to its reliability and that it is easier to shoot than others. I still recommend it to some shooters over the Ruger LCP Max for those reasons.
Glock 43X Apex Trigger and Ghost Connector!

This video shows the Glock 43X after an Apex Trigger Shoe has been installed with a Ghost Edge Connector and a good polishing of all parts that rub together. You get a much smoother pull and a substantial pull weight reduction.
Apex Tactical Competition Trigger for the Ruger Mark IV!
มุมมอง 3.4Kปีที่แล้ว
This is a review of the Apex Tactical Competition Flat Face Trigger Kit for the Ruger Mark IV. This shortens the uptake, reset and smooths the trigger out while providing a light crisp break. This would be an excellent trigger for Bullseye matches or Steel Challenge. This review provides trigger weights with stock trigger and the Apex Competition Trigger. This is not an installation video but i...
FMK 9C1 G2 Pistol Review!
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
The FMK 9C1 G2 is very similar to a Glock from an internal standpoint. This is a repost of an older video. I am not certain this company is still in business as I cannot access their website. This video goes over the details of this pistol which is made in California of all places.
Echo Elite Survival Backpack! Off Body Carry?

The Echo Elite Survival Backpack is large enough to carry everything you need for an emergency while remaining light to carry. It is well constructed and all the design is well thought out.
HiPoint Carbine 9mm! It seems Reliable!
มุมมอง 3.5Kปีที่แล้ว
The HiPoint Carbine chambered for 9mm seems to be a very reliable platform with its blowback system. There are a few things I would change about it but I know of no other carbines that can be purchased for this price. It is also fun to shoot!
1860 Army Richards Mason from Taylors & Co.!
มุมมอง 1.9Kปีที่แล้ว
The 1860 Army Richards Mason is an iconic Open Top Revolver. This replica from Taylors & Company is chambered for the .38 Special. It is beautiful blued and is as close as you get to the original in a modern pistol shooting a modern cartridge. This piece would be great to have in your collection. It also could be shot in SSAS.
Dream Plastics' Red Dot Cover for Holoson 407k/507k!
มุมมอง 831ปีที่แล้ว
Several optic companies do not provide a protective cover for their red dots. Holosun is one such company. This is where Dream Plastics comes in to fill the void. The produce excellent rubber covers for most Holosun red dots as well as for other manufacturers such as Sig and Shield. The rubber cover is thick and fits very well without coming off.

    Current pocket carry is an LCP max and it's fantastic. If Kahr made a doublestack 380 I would prefer it due to the kahr trigger superiority but if I replace my Max the only contender is the bodyguard 2.0.

    Mine came in cardboard box 1 mag and inherent ejection problem. 1000 rounds=35 hiccups. Every 10 round mag has at least 1 of those. Besides that, the accuracy ( what accuracy) stinks. You can rock the slide and notice the play between slide and receiver. I am seriously thinking about Gluck 19 Gen 2.

    I have had a cpx-1 red dot for 10 years and a cpx-2 for five months. Both are great economy pistols. I put a trigger kit and a 20 lb. Slide springs in to reduce muzzle flip. Now they have a five lb. Trigger pull and easier to shoot.

    I have the same pistol. When I first got it , it failed to eject about every 10 rounds. Steyer had an improved extractor claw and detent spring kit to remedy the problem. I installed it myself and haven't had a single issue since. That low-bore axis makes it one ,very sweet, shooter. Thanks for a good and thorough video.

  • @nongmin88

    Mine shoots very nicely and minimal recoil. Not as fussy with ammo as my daughter's G42. However, it does drop the magazine on occasion after firing the next to last round.

  • @greenfieldvalley8746
    @greenfieldvalley8746 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I never had an issue with mine, great out of the box, 4 years and about 7-800 rounds later, absolutely no issues. Heavy as hell but it helps with recoil. I would also recommend staying away from after market magazines.

    Loved shooting my Canik, but the Glock is lighter, thinner and easier to take apart to clean and repair. Yes they're ugly with a crappy trigger. But the more that I dry fire and shoot the Glock, the trigger has become lighter.

    ... amazing how many experienced shooters don't know how to load a levergun without skinning their fingers & thumbs ... leave the base of each cartridge you load holding the loading gate open for the next cartridge ... no need for fingers and thumbs to even get near the sharp edges of the reloading gate

    Had the FMK 9C1 in 2012 and it had a bunch of issues. Twelve years later, although better then the earlier generation the FMK 9C1 Gen 2 still has issues. What I don't like is the extractor, just way to big.

    I just installed one and I’m not impressed. Super squishy. The reset is nice but it’s still squishy. I like the stock trigger better. And if I push sideways at all with this Apex trigger, the safety will not depress. That seems as if in a higher stress situation when you need it most if you grabbed it a little off, you might not be able to defend yourself.

  • @Joe-ie8vk
    @Joe-ie8vk 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I switched to the 42 for edc recently. I have to agree this is probably the best pocket size 380. I held just about every modern common pocket pistol out there when I was shopping for a pocket or summer carry gun. Went with the 42 it’s bigger then a lot of the others and doesn’t hold as many rounds as a few others. Not a glock guy myself but the single stack ones I like. I bought it for summer carry but find myself just carrying the 42 over my sub compact 9mm. My trigger is also way over 5.5 pounds I don’t know we’re glock is getting those numbers lol but I’m ok with it for a pocket gun and like you said the reset is really short. Also the warne plus two base plate is a nice add on it looks longer then the factory pinky extended mag but when it’s in hand it’s not really any big difference same with carrying it apex. Also seems to be very good quality now you got 9 rounds. And lastly love them or hate them glocks work. And for a pistol designed for point blank distance I want to know it’s going to work every time and that’s something glock doesn’t have a problem with just working.
