I want to change the AMG badge in the grille of my 2021 AMG A35 from chrome to Red. Is that possible with this video tutorial?
@@Techno_Avatar I believe so yes

2:16 Do you have a special socket for these long screws? I have deep sockets, but they are nowhere near that long
@@jarekdudzio you need an extra deep 10mm socket I use a snap on socket
Super video , help me.... thanks again😃
Hey! I want to change my rear bumper, but I need to buy a deep socket for the one in the trunk. Would a 12cm long socket be good?
@@Bogdan-gi9yx should be fine
How is the undercover (part being unscrewed at 0:40) mounted to the bumper? I need to replace just that cover and I'm wondering if it can be done without fully removing the bumper
Hello, it is fixed to the bumper inside using rivets, they need drilling out and requires the front bumper to be removed unfortunately
@@jackgross3140 Thanks for getting back so quickly! That's unfortunate :(
@@AWx51 no problem! Hopefully you get it sorted👍
statefarm my insurance sent me to a shop for this same bumper I was told none of the near shops had the special tools to remove the bumper. they wanted me to drive over 100 miles to get a small ding out.
오 감사합니다. 영상 잘 봤습니다.
would a 2020 A200 W177 amg be the same ?
Exactly the same
@@jackgross3140 thanks, will be taking mine off soon to change the look with twin chrome amg pipes and a gloss black defuser
Im worried about getting it back together nicely. But to clean it all would be satisfying. Also concerned with reverse sensors working after respray and repair and reinstall. I want to do CLA250.
@@HeWoreSkeletons reverse sensors will be fine after respray

Amazing how this guy had one hand working to remove hardware and one hand videotaping 💯💯
@@danielphagoo1422 with great difficulty 😂
Due to me gently poking the guardrail my bumper came out of its mount in one spot. Thanks for showing me the details. I was able to fix it.
@@DaniilAKein thank you for the comment and I’m glad it helped🙏
It's snowing!!!!
Very good video
Thank you 🙏
Thanks
Did this cause any sensors to be triggered?
@@malachaipulido4528 nope

WOW
Hey thanks for the great video! Just wanted to check if a 13cm / 5inch deep socket is deep enough?
That should be fine 👍
Really helpful video! Don't suppose you have one for removing the rear bumper on a C207? Thanks!
Thank you! I don’t unfortunately but I’ll keep it in mind for next time I need to remove one and try get a video sorted
thank you 👍
None of these videos help me because none of the cars have a front-facing camera or Distronic unit. I can't remember how the distronic unit connects to the back of the three-pointed star emblem, so My car is in limbo. Nobody shows this on YT
The radar sensor twists into place on the back of the star emblem
@@jackgross3140 Thank you for that information. I had finally figured it out, put the bumper cover back into place and then realized I had forgot to put the center impact absorber back in place. That turned out not to fit right in the new bumper cover. I then had to put the distronic unit back into a locked position while trying to do it without a clear view. Now the entire bumper cover on the passenger side doesn't fit right and some gaps look bad. Back to the drawing board.
Hi, if I had the under tray off would I hear a lot of exhaust noise in the cabin where it is bouncing back off the road?
It would potentially be slightly louder
You are a life saver what a awsome video you did keep up the good work man 🤘🤌🤌
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m glad I could help 🙏
question what holds the quarter panel retainer next to the tail light on mine is stuck that short section of the bumoercover to the quarter panel cleaner won’t come out like I saw the video
Make sure you have removed the E torx but that screws down from the top and the 10mm nut on each side holding the thin section of the bumper in place
You did a great job with the camera, getting super close and clear to all the Screws, bolts and Push Pins.......
Thank you for the positive feedback 😁🙏
Hi man. Thanks for sharing your work and dedication on this video. On 3:17 the sensor you disconnect, what's called?
Hey! Thanks for the feedback 🙏 the sensor that was disconnected here was for the pedestrian protection system, some cars will have this and some do not depending on specification options!
Is there any part number which i can use to search for those sensors as i think i dont have them install as i have an aftermarket front bumper
@@redec13 Open your bonnet and have a look at the bonnet hinges and see if it has the actuators, if it doesn’t have them and there is an empty space it’s more than likely your car doesn’t have the pedestrian protection system. I actually have a W176 A class and my one does not have it
@@redec13 A1769051000 is the part number for this sensor though
@jackgross3140 i have scan the ecu and have found 2 errors B273787 and B273687 impact sensor has a malfunction. Thank you for your time and attention man.
Is this the same with a 2021 gls 450 ?
GLS is different unfortunately
@@jackgross3140 harder or easier? I don’t think it has the bolts in the trunk
Correct there are no 10mm bolts behind the panel in the trunk. Just needs a firm pull to release the clips
What is the sensor of 2:13 for?
It’s the outside ambient air temperature sensor
4:02 What did u unplug ?
That is the main connector for the bumper wiring harness
@@jackgross3140 What is its function ?
@@nikushagurgenidze6954It connects the parking sensors, pedestrian protection system and radar sensors within the front bumper

Bro you saved me
Hi mate got into an accident and my front bumper, badge and grill is moderately smashed, also hood safety mechanism activated so hood is lifted. Any ideas on how much it would cost to replace? What are your prices for replacing the bumper for this car?
Big thanks!
Thanks for the comment 🙏
thanks for the video but... do you have a part number or link for the trunk moulding clips? they broke when I removed the black trim piece.
Hi, thanks for the feedback! the part number for these clips is A0019915798 These can be used also on the door panels 👍
hi what drill and screw did you use to get under neath the tire
It’s an impact driver from flex tools with an adapter for a 1/4 drive 10mm socket
@@jackgross3140 thank you ! is there a cheaper version to get underneath and remove the fender?
the screw you used looked long
is it like an right angle impact driver ?
@@TamarHill-b1v you can use a normal 10mm socket and ratchet to un do these 2 on each side
Thanks for this video. I don't even have a Mercedes GLC, but I like to watch those videos, especially when it's well done like you did. I also appreciate the fact that you made sure every area was well lit up before filming. And the fact that there's no useless talk, or stupid music. Great video.
Ahh mate I really appreciate the kind words and positive feedback! 🙏 Thank you!!
No commentary or music. Straight to the point. I like it
Happy days! Thanks for the feedback mate!
Hello EQA how to remove front bumper?
Thanks!
hi what device are there yellow after open that plate in the trunk ?
They are washers what the nut sits on
What are those pliers called?
Trim clip removal pliers
How much do you charger to replace the front/back bumpers?
If the bumper is already painted and just needs swapping over I would charge an hourly rate for labour of around £65 per hour
What size are those rivets at 1:10?
Hello, I am unsure of the exact size but you can use multiple different tools to remove them as long as you remove the middle part first, flat head screw driver would work
@@jackgross3140 Thanks. I'll just have to not break them, so i can re-use them :)
No worries, also a good tip is to spray them with WD40 as it helps the middle part slide out without bending or breaking!
