I was a 12 yr old kid (got and played the double pack before 3 game out) and I was upset af, cause I felt like my actions got Carlos killed, and he didnt deserve to go out like that!!! Long story short, i went on a rampage before doing the actual missions......RIP Carlos, you deserved better, and you were a true saint 😢😢😢

I liked the reboot, and even I think this scene was dumb. They show the car ONE TIME and never say why it’s important to her until this scene.

The Carlos one was deep because nothing was said and it was honestly shocking because literally every homie was indestructible or either saved by the Playa so you wouldn't expect that especially if you used a rocket launcher and cheated at the mission lmao but with Neena it was so fucking cliché, like yeah I felt bad and it made me frown a bit but that Carlos mission is something I deadass dread while replaying SR2 because it just makes me feel weird, you grabbing his bloody hand and him excepting his fate with dignity as he nods to you to pull the trigger and the npcs through out town mentioning him randomly makes you feel something, like even seeing Carlos as a zombie is depressing man.

The Friends reference in the title is funnier than any reference in this game.

This is the game ever.

The cut scene in SR 2 is way better, but honestly, that mission in SR 2 was stupid, because what's the purpose to add a health bar of Carlos, if the main character just kills him at the end? What was the purpose of saving him, if the boss just kills him at the end? That mission was just sad and stupid!

SR reboot's speech sounds like a twitter rant not game dialogue. These cringe Saints should be on strike, not in a criminal gang.

RIP Carlos the real one. Saints Row 2 has some of the best cutscenes in the series both dramatic and action one's.

I still refuse to believe that the same company that did such an excellent job on the Carlos death cutscene could fuck up so badly when it came to Johnny Gat in Saints Row the Third getting killed off-screen (and yes, he basically WAS killed off because he doesn't appear for the rest of the game... don't care about SR4's idiotic aliens crap)

The dialogue sounds exactly like a typical "Big Bang Theory" or "How I Met Your Mother" script. It's far more convincing as an omega-echelon sit"com" than a "Saints Row" game - or frankly, as _any_ sort of game.

This game would make so much more sense if it was about suburban kids thinking starting a gang was a good idea. But you, why make something interesting when you can just change the names in your How I Met Your Mother fanfiction.

Honestly I could see that drawn out death (especially with the cut to the Protagonist lying on the ground and the camera having to readjust) actually working well, but as usual SR2022 manages to fuck it up.

The loading screens in Saints Row 2 have more emotion, love and care put into them than the entirety of the SR reboot.

Of course she's going to be sad. It's her mom's car and meant everything to her. It's the only thing she has that keeps her close to her mom that passed away.
