Going to give mothers a try, i just spent too many hours on a sxs windshield and it still terrible. Wet sanded from 800 to 3k and 3 stage buffing and its super cloudy, just dont think the compund i used had enough "grit", just blows my mind it was really cleaing up at 3k grit.

I've been trying this same repair. I bought a soldering iron and desoldering pish button vacuum tube's from harbor freight, and I can NOT get the solder out from around the base of these pins lol. Bought a better setup, bout to try again. Awsome job btw

Ford is notorious for hiding relays in weird locations. I remember earlier Mustangs they hid these relays in the passenger fender well. I’m really starting to hate Ford and I’ve been a loyal Ford fan for decades. But this sort of fuckery is bs. These relays and fuses should be easily accessible. Not hidden.

Great video! I have an 03' F250 Gas gave the signs for fuel pump, took it into local shop changed it. Ran good for a day then back to it. I've since bought another panel, but one letter off so my wipers don't work. If anyone could point me in the right direction to finding the right relay would help. My numbers are f8vf-ba 2443a23c, I have an old boss that will do the change out I need find the right part. TIA! Again Great video & subscribed Thanks,

The black disk that presses against the carb seems to further back than it’s supposed to. At full throttle forward it will only go about half way.

That pointer looks an awful lot like a Gracey scaler. I to use them for many things besides their intended purpose lol. Thank you for taking the time to make this video and great explanation.

On my unit I'll set my butterflies with a feeler gauge at 2 to 3 thousands which gives me good even numbers with the thermal gun.

Great video thanks, i run the nozzles with screens and going to stick with the screen style after seeing the other style. Im sure if those cant be indexed for proper spray, due to maybe possible threads between nozzle and or intake . Thanks for the eye opener.

Great video! I've used these fittings on my Spring car and also in the heavy duty truck shops I've worked in. One thing I learned after a couple problems of cutting a flap inside the hose when putting the two pieces together. I insert a Phillips screw the size of the ID of the hose in while screwing it in. use the driver handle for pressure and an ratchet wrench to turn it in. Thanks again for the great videos. I especially like the vids on the Hilborn injector. Great info.

Just bought a B.B. Crower staggered top. Took it apart to sand blast and reinstall all parts to test. Great videos! Keep them coming.

I think the moral of the story here is new distributors or remands are pretty conservative on the advance.

Called Ford today on the chance they still had one for dad's truck today, and there was 10 options depending on VIN, most were no longer available, and if they were, over $1000 bucks!

How do you put it back? (The right way)

Been around speed equipment my whole life, not specifically F.I., and seen right and left injectors but never noticed the slight variation for the hose clearance. Makes buying used injectors almost impossible unless they are a matched set.

Just saw your video, great job but might mention two ideas. Measuring from the inside edge of one shaft to the outside edge of the other will measure the same as the inside of the top allen to the outside of the other allen, no matter the size of bolt as long as they are the same, will save alot of confusion and measuring, You might also want to show how to determine the angle of those linkage pieces to get full throttle with car throttle pedal linkage and make sure they don't hang open. Tnanks for all your effort.

Great video. I have 86 6hp and the plate looks the same. I’m having no spark issues. The trigger on mine looks all burnt and nasty and so is the inside of the flywheel. Can these triggers be serviced and cleaned with sandpaper or replaced? Mine also has that same shoe y black goo under it like yours does. Thanks

Just finished replacing my neighbor's fuel pump relay on his 2006 Ford F350 from instructions in your video. Many thanks for posting this and leaving it up as it has been awhile since you first put it on TH-cam. Could you share what resource you used (or recommend) in locating the relay and how you identified it? There were a few other relays on the board I would have liked to identify. All in all, you saved us a lot of grief, and your well thought out video was easy to understand. Thank you!!!
