I'm local and Covid brought a lot of new people into the countryside who simply don't know how to behave in the countryside, luckily in the Carneddau at least Aber Falls is the only major tourist hotspot, once you get up into the summits of the Carneddau things get much quieter, it's one of my favourite areas in the summer months now as over the last decade the area has just got quieter and quieter, the only areas I stay away from all summer are the Snowdon Massif, Y Glyderau, Moel Siabod and Cader Idris.

This! I live in the Yorkshire Dales and it gets my goat that there are an element who wish to visit a beauty spot, then proceed to trash it... just why? It defies any sane thought process!

Completely agree with all your sentiments there. A lot of people are still good but the scum element in humanity is increasing all the time as we get into third or fourth generation of no manners, no consideration for anything other than themselves, no concept of leaving the earth as you found it or better. I am so glad I am not young like you . At 65, I can no longer walk the hills for several health reasons. My peak years were between 1995 and 2005 . I did a dozen circuits of the peaks above Aber Falls ; Foel Fras, Foel Grach etc two on magnificent snowy days. Just glad I saw those areas when I did. Never really completed any lists as I never saw the mountains as lists to collect but I did do all Lake District Peaks over 2000 feet ( probably doesn’t mean much to you young ones but I never think in metres). I hope you are still able to enjoy the outdoor for many years .

I went for a wild camp at the tiny island on llyn glas. Got there and there was a burnt out barbecue and branches had been sawn off the little tree!

Got our tickets for Woodlands next year....cant wait!!

An F1 fan all my life but ill be going to my first ever Silverstone in a few days. We are stopping in Woodlands and not sure what to expect so just watching this vid has got me even more pumped up. Cant wait to get down there now !! Great vid... Have a great time if your going again.

Couldn't imagine anything worse. Staying in a tent in a field. Just get a hotel. May aswell watch at home if you dont have good seats and have to sleep in a tent.

I just want to say after the music, Lando came out to end it all off but it was my 18th birthday weekend but my family wasn't sure about going and now they all want to go again. Couldn't make it to the F1 this year but going to the supercar championship as it's way cheaper at £45

What is the shower situation like please?

Cracking video. Was my first time doing the GP weekend this year and think I can resonate with your excitement at seeing the cars for the first time aha. Booked Woodlands for next year which I’m about as excited about as I am the GP next year 😂😝

Went up there today 1/9/22, only I went via end of Crafnant lake where the road ends and then a climb up. Some of the paths can get a bit gnarly, but worth it to get views of mountains (Tryfan, Snowdon etc) and side of Llyn Cowlyd. Weather was lovely, also had a certain Kelpie Collie Cross with me to keep me company and she loved it, similar to your dog. Great video, love the camera and drone shots of Crafnant and surrounding areas. I got some great pictures with my camera today. Hope you both too had a good day. ♥Will and Kelsa x🐕‍🦺

What area did you camp in? I’m in the middle of deciding between lively or family area? Heard mixed reviews on both? This video got me more excited for next year!
