Rick's Backstory Theme | Rick and Morty Lofi (1 Hour) [VHS Overlay + 5.1 Surround Sound]
I wanted a 5.1 version of this that doesn't fade out at the end of every loop and doesn't cut Rick and Morty's laughter, so I cut my own together with so After Effects visuals. Hope you all enjoy it!
Audio pulled straight from Rick and Morty season 5 episode 10 "Rickmurai Jack".

This is an interesting list, but the question is, 4 years later how would you do it now? How much of season 7 (and maybe bad batch too) goes into the essentials vs skeleton plan? And that brings me to my next question, if you were to do this again but specifically as a bridge between attack of the clones and revenge of the sith (trying to keep it reasonable so you don’t spend a week between movies) what would you include? Essentially this is recreating the 2003 micro series but with 2008, so which arcs get the ax and which ones bridge the gap? It wouldn’t be good for say, bad batch or rebels (just watch the whole thing) but showing the prequels for the fist time which ones add to the trilogy? For my money I’d use the [movie and the] malevolence arc, grievous’s lair, some stuff with Asoka Anakin and obi wan (the box, 2nd battle of geanosis, mortis, citadel, maybe salavery maybe ondearon rebellion etc), the Asoka betrayal arc, maybe order 66 arc (it’s hard to include it without all of the clone stuff but it works I guess) and the sifo dius hunt, Asoka +mandalore season 7. I want to add the mandalorian stuff and maul stuff too but now it’s starting to get a bit bloated, conversely maul is a huge part of the finale so he should go in, and the mandalorian stuff has some nice “it’s like poetry, they rhyme” moments. I’d also want to add the Yoda alone episode and the Padmé piece episodes but if harsh cuts are needed… Anyway that’s off the top of my head (I’d make a more comprehensive list given time) but as a bridge between movies I think grievous should have his dues as a villain (and duku as well I just couldn’t think of any besides the box) and the order 66 plot adds to the tragedy of revenge of the sith. Unfortunately with season 7 happening concurrently with rots this approach starts fraying by the end.

Anakin and Padme's relationship was really doomed from the start. You have a person brought into a religious group that encourages complete suppression of emotion in love with a senator who was involved in politics from the age of 14. Neither have developed the right social skills, (which is why their dialogue is so wooden and cringy. It's deliberate), especially in Anakin's case. Anakin, upon seeing the 'prophecy' of his wife dying, takes it upon himself to save her, despite her not really being all that bothered about those visions. That there is the irony. He supposedly turns to the dark side 'for her own good', but she doesn't want that, she's not worried, and his turn is what leads to her death.

CLU is a copy of Kevin Flynn with one objective: "Build the perfect system." From a modern narrative perspective, CLU is a simple bad guy, but if you think of him as a half of the whole character Kevin Flynn it becomes more interesting. The programs following CLU blindly without character motivation isn't the problem. That makes sense narratively. If you are looking for more narrative complexity then the place to apply it would be in CLU having a better justification for his purpose. That would narratively detract from the fact that CLU is a program as well. He is simply following orders but with a degree of more agency than the average program. Although, it does seem within reason to have given CLU more screen time to round out the narrative more. Personally, I think people soured at Tron for a much simpler reason. Too much fart sniffing. You don't have to have complex philosophical arguments in a narrative. Sometimes it is okay to have a narrative that makes sense and spend additional resources on visual and audio. Sometimes the narrative just wants to live in the moment. Who knows? Maybe the binary simplicity of Tron 2 will be counterbalanced with mind boggling Qubit complexity in Tron 3? Prepare the desert and hallucinogens! We are writing out a list of our symbols and going dimensional diving!

While I do see how abusive Anakin was on that Clovis arc, I feel like I am on his side on that one because yeah he could trust Padmé with all his life but to me it was quite not-reassuring how much she wanted to do those missions with a man that clearly was not respecting her boundaries. He had rejected him several times and he kept insisting!!! I'd be mad as hell too to see my special someone insist on going with someone who has romantic intentions with no boundaries

At least Gambit had some control over himself and never became a hypocrite as far as his relationship with Rogue goes. Both the Southern Belle mutant and the Cajun mutant would call him out on his attempt at murdering Padme by accident for that one action

I’m in a pickle where I know how essential a lot of these episodes are to fully understand everything, but I also don’t want my mom to see that 30hr or even 12hr run time and say “nevermind” and not go through with it. I believe there’s only one 2 archs that are truly necessary to understanding the most of the important plot points in the movies. The conspiracy arch, and the mandalore arch. These will include Maul as well because he’s kinda important, and Mauls death will do nicely as a little snack in between Rogue One and A New Hope. (Not The canonical placement but if you don’t care it’s a nice reminder that Obi-wan is still out there and it concludes an arch right before starting the last one, the original series.)
