Brilliant as I'm a few weeks into Blender and love the warts and all because I learn more from the mistakes. Happy Christmas!
any idea which version of marvelous started to include topstitch exported via normal map?
Spent 2 days trying to figure out how to keep my jacket from slipping and staying in place to no avail, till I decided to look it up. Thank you so much.
Instantiate Across Texture Sets...awesome!
thank you for this, helped me lot. extremely valuable info
Thank you!!! i was struggling with this until I found your video :)
Help! New to Blender. Each time you double click a face it selectes all similar faces. My double-click does nothing. Do I have to configure that ?
have the same issue. i think it's a special plugin that does that. i recommend just using ctrl/cmd click to manually select all faces
Thanks
When I make the buttonhole it's too big, how can I make it smaller? Thank u!
Brilliant tutorial, first time using blender and really easy to follow. Hoping you did do more videos I can follow to make a lounge room set to montage some furniture into.
I did the exact same thing and for some reason it's just not working as you've shown
Well I can't believe I just sat down and watched a 45 minute tutorial in one shot and learned everything I had questions about, great video.
Hi, nice video. Did you know why i dont have any filter in my Substance Painter? i search but idk why the filters dont apear
For anyone following this great tutorial here, I want to make a follow up for you. Setup everything just like in the tutorial but when it comes time to save the controllers and morph, the link you make between the controller and the morph (putting the morph on 1st stage sub component) will not save correctly without one additional step. When you are at that point, adding the morph as the sub component. Look in the attributes and you will see a "save with" line along with a drop down. You need to change this from your morph to the controller so that the change will save with the controller. Next time you load after you save the controller, everything should work fine.
I really appreciate this video. Guru sent me a link to this because I was digging deep into Mutli Dimensional Controllers and this way helped me understand the concept a lot better. Needed to be able to have a bend morph, side morph, and twist morph all on their own. But if the joints were combined in anyway, the shape needed to change, for example bend + side or bend + side + twist. If these combo morphs are activated, then the solo morphs for each joint would need to subtract as the combo morph is dialed up. Complex kinda but worked a treat so thank you. Edit : Well it worked great until it came time to save the controllers. I saved them just like the other jcms and morphs I made. When I reloaded the scene, the connections I made are no longer there. For example, the morph connected to sub component of the main driving controller did not save, it's no longer there. Have any ideas why?
Okay it's fixed now, I figured it out.
I watched 10s of videos in my language and I didn't understand anything from this program, but I watched your video and I understood everything very easily, it's interesting and I understand you even though I don't know English, you are like a magician, congratulations
Excellent tuts, with clear and concise explanations. Thanks a bunch!
Wow. Good stuff! Thank you.
I watched nearly every video about gradient but this was the most helpful. Thanks.
Thank you!
Excellent, thanks.
thank you this is really usefull :)
Hey, what kind of keyboard were you using in this video? Love the sound of the switches 🙂 And thanks for the amazing tip!
Thanks for the help! :D
Thank you!

hello where we can find the bow ribbons folder
Ehm, Sorry, did you made a tutorial for fixing the sticky collision problem during animation in Marvelous Designer ?
Awesome sauce video, thanks for sharing!
there is no normals in that tab
godbless yous
blender it's a software used by interior designers?
How did you get the hood to fit over the hair? Or did you bring the hair in as a OBJ? Because I’m trying to make a cloak for my character and it has a hood, and I just imported everything into marvelous designer as an FBX. And I’m running into a lot of interference with collision with the hood and the hair. With no hair, the cloak comes out perfect. But with the hair, the hood is having a bunch of collision problems. That I can’t seem to figure out.
i wish adobe would hire you for their so called "learn" videos. THANK YOU
It’s what I’ve been looking for! Thanks! 🔥
It's so hard to see the bottom. Your camera is covering it.
.. took be like 3 years to realize this is possible, thank you so very much.
Thanks! It is very useful!
Thank you!! helped to solve my problem!
Thanks for the video!
How do I rig high heel shoes when converting from gen 8 to gen 9? I have tried using the joint editor but I don't have exact documentation on the process to rig new shapes to the boots so gen 9 poses work correctly, there seems to be issues with some high heeled shoes not setting in position correctly after fitting to the body, I was thinking the boots may require adjusting in the joint editor after you dial in a morph for the feet on the boot itself to fix the issues with the boot not sitting correctly on the feet even in pose. I don't see any documentation on how to correct the feet issues with gen 9 when converting outfits from other generations. Only outfits with left and right feet separate can be fixed by loading the shoe without targeting the model than parented to the foot, but this is not a real fix nor a good one as many problems arise from poses and conversion to other editors, all outfit pieces and props must be fitted to body or things do not appear in the correct position after conversion from Daz3d to Unreal5. Is there a proper way to correct feet and glove issues on outfits for gen 9?
this video was very helpful!! thank you :)
Breathe a little bit louder next time
I have a problem, I have a substance archive in .sbsasb format that I have been trying to convert into materials for almost a week now. Can someone tell me how to do that? If that’s not possible I also have the file in .dat format and I would like to know how to convert .dat to materials instead
Thank you for tutorial was easy to understand for a beginner, and was very helpful.
Bro, I watched the whole video to find how I can create a fabric like the VIDEO COVER. it was kind of stylized and very nice , you explained nothing about it. but still a very good explanation about properties. thanks anyway.
Not sure if you have a tut for this or not but how do you use a buckle trim? How do you 'thread' the belt strap through it, over the center bar and out through the otherside? I tried using one but it just sits on top of the fabric and I see no way to thread it. (Not I'm using MD 8)
thanku so much
God, thank you so much. Was trying to find this option everywhere.
I import the Udims like in the video and still importing in different places, is an entire outfit, all in 1 model and even the UV's are in the same box... X.X
