Fond description by Dr. Tina. Less has been said about Dr. Naseer and Dr. Girja. There will be volumes how as Principals of Medical college they were shining. Their professional life was also pious. Though they had done intercast marriage no eyebrows were raised by any community. Peace be upon their souls.
Pls tell me anybody in which language is Dr sahib speaking
Very good personality and asset of j&k may Allah swt bless him with good health and live long

Despite of the agonies of confinement he faced he remained courageous and composed, because he had an ideology, that too of left,as Anjali said. In words of Faiz, whom we know now was a family friend Difficult are the circumstances, So what I will saceifice my heart, Will give away my life Afterall, In my beloved persuits, Things are still manageble, at least for me... Faiz marriage nikah was confucted by Sheikh Abdullah himself. Faiz died in Mayo Hospital Lahore,KE's teaching hospital. One of his son in law is teaching there these days
Did he passed in 1947,or 1948 when war on Kashmir had already started ?
While Dr Naseer was a Kemcolian, did KE had foreign faculty mostly ? Kindly see if Angela can tell that
Under capitalism universal education and health rights of every single human is simply impossible. Yet,though Dr Naseer and Dr Girija couldn't lead a totally free for all, particularly every poor health facility, their noble charity still means a lot. An inspiration for all doctors everywhere,in developed as well as non developed countries like us,where individuals can still serve masses, even if the society, the system is human exploitative. They can still ablaze, some light of hope for La Miserables of the world, and be an example, for at least a few left still humanistic rich,if there are any. Red Salute, fellow doctors,Naseer Sir,and Girija Mam,you were the doctors,we all need to be. May Dr Angela Tina Shah, keep up the inspiration alive and spreading. She can,i feel. She should,i insist.

No more Dr Shab please.Don't narrate this horrendous incident which is past bearing
Once I have had an opportunity to call on this most competent doctor when my Late spouse expressed a desire to have a physical examination by the physician in question. The present writer sought an appointment with the doctor in question and I along with my spouse called on Dr.Sahab onthe day of appointment. We were led to his room and we salaamed Dr sahab who also recipprocrated. He examined the patient thoroughly and then prescribed medicines and instructed to visit the clinic again if the need arises.Luckily the patient quickly responded to the treatment and afterwards she remained stable.Dr Jan, Dr Naseer and the doctor under discussion have rendered valuable services to the people of the valley. We must be proud of them.
😂The Muslim community is completely shorn of all basic values of life because of cultural erosion.Muslims are headlong involved in mundane affairs without any regard for moral turpitude.people are judged by lucre not by values. The situation is worsening day in day out.
Read lucre in place of lucie.
The Jeremiad of Dr Sahab is really a cllection of many unpleasant episodes which were in store for him from the very beginning and lasted till the most beautiful stage of his life was over but Dr Sahab's perseverance and indefatigable determination played a decisive role in steering him to his ultimate goal which culminated in his becoming a legendary doctor of our state. The providential hand has always been on his side which became conspicuous whenever he was beset with insurmountable difficulties.Dr sahab is essentially a philanthrophist and unlike other doctors who are only after minting Lucie.

One should learn from this interview what a nice family including their daughter had been and nice upbringing of their daughter has been.Great people shall always remain great. But some people while giving their comments try to link it to religion.
Truly enlightened and empathised family. Got rid of dogmas and elitism.
Were they married according to Islamic sharia?
No ! Girja never converted !! They were so called SECULAR !! Who cares ???

God bless Prof Dr Allaqaband Sëib. Lat time I personally met him was in 1983 when he had questioned my non- selection for promotion as a member of the selection committee of SKIMS. An outstanding physician in his own rights and a good human being. My regards to him. As a past resident of Karannagar, we used to see this towering personality more often in the vicinity. 🌹🙏
Cummunil doctor
Excellent interview that has brought into open the greatness of two iconic medical personalities of Kashmir. A common person, who had only heard about Professors Drs Naseer Sahib and Girja ji, will now, after hearing these 3 parts of interviews, really appreciate the greatness of these expert medical educationists and administrators. May their souls rest in heaven. 🙏
Excellent interview. Great personalities of Kashmir.
Extra ordinary daughter of lovable parents,,a soft spoken interview of doll of great parents.resembling like her mother GIRJA ,,dr.
This Shah family has been a real progresaive one in a cinservative Kashmir. Their contribution to the Kashmiri society is unparalleled.
Gagribal Point !.. ✌✌✌
Mashallah God bless you all.
I had an interaction with Dr Girija Dhar during my ist interview, KAS 1999 as chairman PSC.I still remember how she started the interaction with great poise & peaceful demeanor. I remember one question from her. What lesson v get from honeybees? Though I had no interaction with Dr Naseer sb.But, after my entry into adm. through 2001 batch, I had the opportunity to visit Naseer sbs.birth place kernah Teetwal during my stint as ADDC Kupwara. Till the time she remained chairman she acted as a hurdle in keeping the sanctity of the list.Later on, after her exit from PSC, the list was completely changed by the govt. of the day from head to toe bringing all the blue eyed boys & girls leaving merit holders high & dry, the lacuna was highlighted in the press also at that time. A Gr8 poious & honest lady. May.GOD bestow her eternal peace & solace in her after life.
Evils never Like good in it's ambiance that is why Public hospitals are in Shambles may be time damand to make Evils more affluent. Now about Dr Naseer Sahib,he was blessed Soul obviously he must had Special features that forced Girja ji to yield before Naseer Sahib ji where religious barriers became meaningless . Dr Alijan Sahib ji and Dr Naseer Sahib ji were the two Stalwart in the medical Procession that time. I from Raina wari,When I couldn't recover under the Supervision of DN Nakhasi ,my father took me to Dr Naseer Sahib at his Clinic Dalgate , he took a Single fees for Couple of months, his humble behavior Struck my mind whenever a talk about Doctors arise. Those days are now gone from the Kashmir Scene. .....Nomo Narayana!
