Why a Fire Emblem 4 Remake is STILL Coming!
The Nintendo Direct played us...again. The much-discussed Fire Emblem 4 remake was once again not announced, for what feels like the 100th time now. And yet, I am still convinced Genealogy of the Holy War will be remade in the future. Let me explain to you why!

Fixing The Final Boss of Fire Emblem Engage
มุมมอง 2.4Kวันที่ผ่านมา
Fire Emblem Engage was a celebration of Fire Emblem history, with beloved characters returning as Emblems or Rings and... not a whole lot more. Let's change that, shall we? The way I see it, Sombron has potential to be the best final boss in Fire Emblem history, but that potential was squandered. And so, I figured I'd explain my vision of how to improve it! One Fact You Didn't Know About Every Fire Emblem Lord
มุมมอง 8K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Fire Emblem is known for its large cast of characters and Lords are no exceptions. From the many Emblems we Engage with to the Three Houses leaders to the ever popular Chrom and Lyn and even the spin-offs Lords like Shez from Warriors and the siblings from Heroes, this is one fact about every Fire Emblem Lord. How Fire Emblem Introduced Itself To The World
มุมมอง 454หลายเดือนก่อน
In 2003, the Western world was introduced to Fire Emblem. For everyone that gave that initial game a shot, Lyn provided a perfect introduction to the brand-new mechanics of tactical RPGs. Today, I want to take a look back at her introductory story, analyzing how she set the tone for the popular game series that would follow. CHAPTERS: 00:00 - Introduction 00:41 - Smash Bros. and the Binding Bla...
It’s worth noting that New Mystery was called "iron12" and Awakening was "iron14" and we still don’t have an iron13, so for all we know the missing iron18 won’t mean anything
Different times though tbf. Fire Emblem was on its last legs before Awakening came around so it's highly likely scrapped one of the games to focus on Awakening.
Sure grandpa, now let’s get you to bed.
i think above all else is the whole "iron17" flatout confirms another fe game is in development. i just dont get why they rushed out engages dlc and ended it so fast if they werent gonna announce anything i wonder if its gonna be announced later this year but they spaced it out so the direct could dripfeed proper announcements between tons of filler to generate more hype, which really stinks
One fun fact about the three main characters from Heroes is their eyes colors reflects their weapon's weakness, Alfonse's eyes are blue which he is weak to lances, Sharena's eyes are green which she is weak to axes and Heroes's Anna's eyes are red which she is weak to swords!
I’m wondering if the FE 4 Remake will be a cross gen release or next generation only. I’m really looking forward to seeing what it would look like even if it’s a next generation tile only I’m buying it even if I don’t have the console when it comes out.
I think people don't think something isn't in development until we see it. Games get developed sometimes for years with no announcement. Just because it wasn't at this direct, which was stocked full of 1st party announcements, doesn't mean it won't be at a future direct. Although, it would be on brand for Nintendo and intelligence systems to launch FE4 Remake for switch after the switch successor is released. I'm looking at you FE2, FE5, FE11, FE12, FE15
This is all speculation on my part. I want to Asaello in HD as much as the next person, so with that said. About the leaks. One youtuber (can't remember who rn) brought up the possibilty of the fe4 remake leak being the leaker not being that familiar with fe, and seeing Sigurd's paralogue in Engage going "hey isn't that Sigurd from fe4? Must be a remake" might be the "confirmation" of an fe4 remake the engage leaker was talking about. It's not perfect but it fits pretty well. The missing iron17 could just be a scrapped game like those images of "Roy" from a scrapped game too. The bigger role Sigurd plays in Engage could hardly be called big. While he's certainly more important than others, it's mostly just to talk about Lumera and not enough screentime to really show him off. iirc He becomes like the other emblems after Lumera's death. Aside from the among us line. Heroes came out in 2018 or something. The lack of Jugdral characters is not a new thing un preparation for the remake. Compared to other titles Jugdral has always been under represented in Heroes. This is nothing new I'm tired right now so sorry not sorry if this isn't very cohesive
But why was the game leaked alongside Three Hopes and Engage?
I've been hearing this rumour since three houses days dawg💀🙏, they're probably delaying it like engaged for a better release date .Engage was finished wayyy earlier
If they know it’s another banger like Three Houses, it makes total sense to wait until Switch 2
There is an Engage mod that buff dark emblem's user and maybe Sombrom in the final chapter and the just look at the skills is just comparable to FEH's ones
new naga video lets gooo
All of these are very convincing. I could never come up with those good as points except for "it's just coming ok?!?"
Imagine this; They announce the FE4 Remake and not too long after they add Sigurd to Smash. I don't care if it's another FE Character, having an all lance user that has his horse in his moveset (Similar to Wario's Bike) would be awesome.
Strong believer Holy Blood would be easy to implement using the code behind the crest system
Oooh, that’s a good point!
First !
Ah yes, this failure game that still involves Alear my drop dead gorgeous Fell Dragon wife.
This channel has a ton of potential, I'm subbing.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
I'm abit confused on why you do not consider Ryoma, Xander, Ivy, Timerra, Alfred, and Diamant as Lords. Is it because they're technically in-line of waiting to be King/Queen?
Most because of story reasons, really. I wouldn't consider the four Engage Lords to be as vital to the story as the other characters in the video, but I did consider including them. Ryoma and Xander same thing, depending on which version of Fates you have they aren't even playable.
Correct me if I'm wrong, here's another fun fact about Robin: he's the only Lord who doesn't start the story as a royal, but becomes a royal later once Valadar inherits the throne.
Isn't Byleth in a similar situation? Starts as mercenary, can end as archbishop (which I guess isn't royalty, but still)
Sigurd, Seliph and Ike are God-Tier lords
1-rhea is also a lord imo, she was done dirty but she should be considered that . 2.I think the strongest is a bit of a not specific title, objectively speaking From robin to alear they should be stronger, celica should also be stronger for being able to use strong magic and sword, micaiah also has some bonkers magic... alm is literally a conqueror fighting his way through the game at the head of the army, heck, even fighting armies of necro dragons and grima himself
Rhea not being playable kinda prevents her from being a Lord imo. I’d say Yuri is closer actually for that very reason
@NagapediaFE I think it's weird because 3 houses has 4 main characters and byleth isn't one of them, he is the avatar, I guess that's still a main character but uh, I think the only reason why rhea isn't playable is because koei tecmo are edelgard fanboya
I wish the Dark Emblems would have given unique weapons or tomes to the corrupted synced with them, like Nemesis giving the Dark Creator Sword or dragon stones for draconic emblems.
Where is kris?
Fixing your video: don't do it.
No facts for Itsuki from Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE
Hé, Wat gaaf om een Fire Emblem youtuber te vinden met een Nederlandse nationaliteit! Leuke video. Ga zo door!
Dank je!
I think shez is a bit stronger than ike, he kinda has super overpowered abilities
I'd argue all the royals in fates count as lords, or at least ryoma and xanther with how unique and important they are
I agree with this sentiment, and will try to come up with a fact for each of them. *Xander, despite being known for being a nearly unstoppable unit in battle in terms of lore, is weaker when you fight him in chapter 26 of Birthright. This is because he wants to be killed after accidentally killing Elise. *Camilla is nearly swayed into believing Corrin during chapter 13 of Birthright (if memory serves), and is only kept from being convinced because of Leo's words. *Speaking of Leo, he is the only Nohrian royal to not have the wyvern rider line as part of his normal class set; he instead has to obtain it via an S support with Beruka. *Elise is the only royal that you are not forced to fight if you play the route she doesn't join, and she even accompanies the party for a few chapters, albeit not as a playable character. *Despite Ryoma being associated with lobsters due to the design of his armor, he's actually supposed to have a lion motif: his hair resembles a lion's mane, and the mask he wears, when given to another character as an accessory, is called a lion mask. *Hinoka was the last royal to be added to the game, and as such has less story significance than the other royals do. *Despite not having the class as part of his normal class set, Takami originally trained to be a samurai -- this is referenced in his supports with Hana, of whom was an old sparring partner of his (and it's partly implied that he gave up on swordmanship because she beat him badly after becoming Sakura's retainer), and Hinata's supports with Corrin bring this up as well, being Hinata's motivation to train with a sword. Additionally, Takami is the only character to have a unique model for a class that isn't a part of his normal class set, with his swordmaster model being based off of Sumeragi. *Sakura is the only royal to have a starting weapon rank of E, other than Corrin and Azura. This is likely because she's playable before the route split for more than one chapter, being the only royal from Hoshido or Nohr to have this distinction
finally a fair criticism of engage.
"Finally"? Hasn't this game been fairly criticized for over a year now?
i Kue all the infaormtion avout the teluis lords infact do you know that asher cood subiv the vala curs becos it tuns you into bubels wich at the end of radian dawun ashera becosm but she subives and beocs asunera thisis without the bariare that portks her and the mulipel brriers and and other
it’s so much more about engage than the final boss that needs fixing but thank god someone is taking initiative
There's an edit someone made that has the original final boss music playing when fighting the respective Dark Emblems, and it just makes me wish that was in the actual game.
That would’ve been a very nice touch, yeah! Even just a short rearrangement of Sombron’s theme to match the Dark Emblem would’ve worked
The minimum thing they could've done for the dark emblems is making them the same moddels as their classes in their original games
Like for example having ashtar as a wyvern or loptis a sage
I like fell xenologue approach whete the boss follows you around and you need to defeat his goons as you go pr otherwise the boss gets stronger
8:50 They arent fun characters lol
You pronounced Shez’s name wrong, it’s actually Shez!. The exclamation mark makes all the difference.
You covered the Heroes lords but not Rowan and Lianna. Disgusting.
Actually, Eirika's usage of a rapier is notable because she's one of the few characters in fiction that does it *right.* Rapiers are not supposed to be used in slashing motions, they are supposed to be used to puncture the opponent, they are an stabbing weapon. Also, they are a class of weapon only used by the elite (like royalty and anybody else on said level), that's why only Eirika and Marth start the game with them.
And Eliwood! And he uses is right too. Roy is okay with it...
@@craigyeah1052 Does Eliwood start with one? Or can he use it? Because, if its the latter, then I would say that he's an exception for the sake of gameplay.
@@toumabyakuya yeah eliwood and roy both start with the rapier
@@craigyeah1052 Oh, okay.
🤓 um actually celica is a prepromoted priestess
She was the Jagen of SOV the whole time.
I’m glad the TH-cam algorithm lead me to this new channel. Although I disagree with Serra lyn has great fashion sense since everyone who played fire emblem can easily recognize her outfit to this day.
Thanks for the azura spotlight. She deserves all the joy one can give.
I'm pretty sure I heard in an interview that Rowan was originally an axe lord and Lianna a lance lord but this was scrapped because you can only play as one of the 2 OC's during story mode and they wanted the tutorial to play the same.
Yeey, now we truly have one fact about every Lord!
@@NagapediaFE I got another one, although not sure if everyone knew about it already, but turns out that the JP's VA for both Rowan and Lianna are actuallly siblings as well!
Azura and Camilla did manage to get a conversation in the 'Nohrian Festival of Bonds DLC' that was never released outside of Japan. It's actually pretty cute, and a bit sad.
Huh, I didn’t know that, interesting!
@@NagapediaFE they also have dialogue together in a paralogue of their New Years alt in FEH but who the fuck cares about it?
3:20 Does Chrom not count?
he did die in the main timeline
It's kinda funny because for the most part I actually think Engage improved bosses in the series, but yeah this wasn't it.
That dragon isn't big. Grima is absolutely humongous as a final boss. He's so big, his back is the battleground.
Calling Grima "humongous" is still an understatement, I'm pretty sure Grima is as big as a small island.
@@xacmashe3852 Still bigger than this so called Fell Dragon.
*Big as Ten Tails*
Im an Ike guy to the bitter end, but i think Dimitri might be stronger
Ike literally killed a goddess(of course he took help from yune but still), the strongest enemy Dimitri had to fight was Thales(which i doubt is even canon but even then not even close to a goddess level).
Serra's right, Lyn does have no fashion sense.
I liked the fact about colour the best
Absolutely fantastic and I couldn't agree more 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
On Seliph's Awakening art: all DLC character art features the character drawn as the class they appear as in Awakening, with Marth being the exception as the Lodestar class is exclusive to him. So Seliph appears as a swordmaster in art because he is recruited as a swordmaster in-game.
