I've said this as long as the game's been out. Iron Man is bad because nobody wants to play him as he should be played. I think if you play around cover or from long distance off angles, he can be good. The issue is probably exacerbated by low-rank players choosing to fly out in the open above a point where they can't do anything but get killed. But if I see an Iron man on the enemy team, I'm beaming him out of the sky with Luna

Personally I don't think iron man is as bad as many people say he is He does pretty good damage especially with his beam and depending on the map he's literally impossible to reach even with someone like iron fist (I still don't get why people call iron fist broken I would argue he's one of the worst heroes in the game not the worst but hear like B tier at best) But think of that spider island map last point You basically cannot reach iron man up there as the roof is very high up He again does do pretty good damage But I would say iron man is best in very small maps that have plenty of stuff on the roof Because it will allow iron man to hide behind objects easier And obviously if they have a punisher then just give up trying to do anything with him

Never heard this sentiment once, I started Marvel on Venom and Iron Man, and I've never put down Iron Man since. He's really solid, it's just that when someone has a counter for him it's pretty much impossible to do anything useful, Iron Fist basically flies if he catches up to you, Hela has way higher burst damage than you think and for some reason Mantis players play like they're DPS.
