    I know that this video is 2 years old but I have a question: in the end of the video I see that is remounted the stock silencer but without the valve, I have a Scrambler with the double Akrapovic stock silencer, can I mount the Akrapovic Header and use the valve? There is some sort of issue with this header without catalitic converter?! some people in various forum say that are a lost of power on low rev.

    • @Janoo609
      @Janoo609 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you can install the headers with the valve as well. There is no issue with removing the cat, I actually had the bike like that for a while and everything was fine. Eventually I did install a fuel controller because the bike tends to run lean, and the controller will add that extra boost needed to run great. My suggestion is that if you get the headers, get the Rapid Bike Evo or Power Commander to complement the installation.

    • @Janoo609
      @Janoo609 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are a few things to consider. One, I recorded the video with an Insta 360, which has a microphone that deletes loud noises such as wind. That’s why on the road test section of the video you hear the horn loud at first and then quite. The second thing is that the Denali SoundBomb sounds more like a large vehicle than a small motorcycle. When people hear you use it, the psychological effect is to asume there is a large vehicle next to them and then they’ll move away almost by instinct. Finally, I did play with the sound of the video to remove road noise (I live next to a highway), and wind noise, which is why the horn sounds week. If I had to compare the sound to a horn from an 18 wheeler, then no, it is not that loud, but it is louder than a pick up truck horn.

      @Janoo609 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am very happy, mostly because I can use two fingers and no problem. The quality is ver good and I am very satisfied with that. The reason why I chose these was because I wanted solid levers and not adjustable. After a few years of using them, I could tell you that having adjustable levers might be a better idea. The reason is that on long rides or heavy traffic for long periods of time, they can become tiresome. That way you can install the long lever when riding long distances, and short on shorter rides

      @@rl_31123 The bike is indeed louder and you do not need to tune it, but I recommend you get a fuel controller, as the bike runs lean. • @Janoo609
      @Janoo609 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Did you use the resistors? If you did and still have that warning light on your bike, then the next step is take the bike to the bmw mechanic and ask them to change the codes. The r9T came in two different modes, ready for LED lights (European version), and bulbs (American version). The codes on the bike can be changed, but that can only be done by a BMW mechanic. People use the resistors to bypass the codes

    • @bruceiscurious
      @bruceiscurious 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Janoo609 I contacted BMW in my country and 3 of them dealers gave me the same solution. “Do not use aftermarket parts. Because the code is gonna pop out no matter what you do”. So to me they just wanna sell the original spare parts which are super pricey. Reason why I’m trying to change my signal light is because the brackets are so fragile it cracked and turned into powder. I’m not sure if it lasted longer in cold weather country. These signals light from BMW are just unreliable.

    • @Janoo609
      @Janoo609 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bruceiscurious My guess is that they do not want to help you. They should be able to do it just like they would do if they were installing the BMW LED lights. One more thing you can try is to install the resistor in the different forms they have in the instructions. I believe rizoma gives you like 3 different ways of doing it, depending on the R9T model you have. Try each one of the different options and see if any of those work
