Hey! You guys made a very quick cameo in the beginning of @inspiredbynature ‘s most recent vlog! So great!

We have been binge watching your channel and love it. We are a campervan family but we have all agreed that we would like to try a narrow boat. My late dad had a cruiser on the Thames and we had many family holidays chugging up to Windsor. Thank you. 😎😍👬

please do not give up with your videos altogether i love following you both.

Glad to see you guys back again. I totally agree with @glennsunman9859. I, too, follow some other narrowboat vloggers. And it appears that, for some of them, creating content for their channels really is a full time job. If I lived in the UK I would definitely try the narrowboat llfe, but I am sure I wouldn't be burdening myself with another full time job trying to record it all! There's too much to enjoy! We all appreciate the effort you and others make in bringing the canal life front and centre for us to enjoy; but we also understand that you might want to step back from it a bit. Thank you again. I agree if the fun goes out of what you are doing It is time to change up. Glad you are not leaving we enjoy your vlogs. But do what you need to do to enjoy life.

We are boat owners and had thought about vlogging but my wife was a film maker and pointed out the effort that goes into a decent vlog production as well as the expense of the equipment. She explained that once you have set that hare running , there will be pressure to constantly find content to meet your self imposed deadline that , as you have found, detracts from the simple enjoyment of the lifestyle. It’s entirely different for those bloggers who have approached it from a shrewd determination to pursue it to make a living , like you would a job , to fund a canal lifestyle at an earlier time of life rather than retirement so Boat Time and Narrowboat Life Unlocked as well as Foxes Afloat before them and many others exemplify this approach , it’s work to them and the equipment is an investment from which they expect a return. We applaud those like yourselves who do vlog despite all , you give pleasure and introduce the canals to a worldwide audience that otherwise would be ignorant of the lifestyle .This could be crucial if it comes to raising funds to keep canal branches open in the face of government cuts. Glad to hear you are going to continue ,but very wise to reduce it , keep it up , but at your pace .

I completely understand your feelings, thoughts and explanations. It is your real life. You aren't making a movie, although you are making interesting content for your viewers. But when it becomes a problem, as I said, it is your life. On the flip side, I'm very glad you decided not to stop. I love your conversations, your banter, your explanations and just your matter of factness about what happens. I live in Australia, so narrow boating was totally foreign to me when I started watching. I've learned so much about the countryside and places, so you aren't just vlogging, you are educating at the same time. So, thank you for the explanation, and for your choice. Slowing down and filming when you want to rather than to a timetable is the way to go. See you on the next one, and thanks for all you've done so far. Love it!

You guys always make me laugh. The thing about TH-cam and similar is that it eats content at a ridiculous rate. That can cause a 'race-to-create' and also lessen worth. One just has to look at modern TV (or rather not look at it in my case - tat). Your content has always been brilliant, fun, informative and inclusive as it is so genuine. But the rub is that you both still have to enjoy doing it, as well as live, work and relax. Rather than lose you both, and as Rob said, he'd rather step back into the shadows sometimes, doing just that would be good and bring balance. As a viewer a monthly or even quarterly video of highlights would be well received. Even if you stop, you leave behind great content for others to enjoy. I'll just have to get my own boat to try and metaphorically bump into you. However you decide to go, and I liked Rob's idea some months back of creating a video record of the various canals and scenery and sites, stay safe and well! x Give the hounds a treat and cuddle from us 💙

I live on the space coast of Fl and so many people don't see the launches except through a camera lens. It is better to watch and feel it live, not through a lens. I understand but love your videos. Kris Atomic is a great watch even though her videos are a year behind. We are coming to the UK in October and will finally be close to canals which I am so looking forward to watching the narrow boats.

I was always lead to believe the kind were for pottery . Line k8ls look a lot different and are top fed.

Always enjoy your vlogs. If you go through Stoke again, Middleport pottery is worth a look round, also look out for the skeleton in Harecastle tunnel about 400m from the north entrance!

Traveling the canals is supposed to be fun and if the vlogs are detracting from that then stop. We would miss you but your happyness should come first. By all means try a reduced load because we do enjoy your vlogs. Boating should be fun and if vlogs takes away from that put boating first. Good Luck with a new schedule.
