Turning 19 this month , cut of all the idiots from life and investing time on self-development . Gets lonely sometimes but I often ask myself " Would I be able to work on myself so selfishly if I had to invest time on their social obligations?" . Being unattractive comes with bigger downsides. Get rejected for everything....jobs, friends, dating, lonely AF. An attractive person can make themselves less attractive. But ugly you're stuck with it. And your point about attractive women who are lonely and never get approached. In my experience if you're not in their league, they look at you with disgust. I've hung out with attractive dudes and they get it easy.

I'm a handsome guy, but far from the norm. I stopped cutting my hair when I was 15 now in my 30's and it's down to my arse. At one point in life I had load's of piercings but I kept losing them in moshing, getting into fights, also keeping them clean after healing. Then one day I took all my piercings out. Now I'm full of tattoos instead. I've had problems with drugs for a long time, mostly opiates and benzodiazepines I also used to get drunk a lot to the point I now have chronic alcoholic pancreatitis. Without going to far into details I'm in my 30's now, I'm a handsome, good looking also I'm cute looking guy. But I'm going to a place that helps people like myself with drugs and drink I also go to AA. In my mind all this makes me a turn off, although I'm one of the nicest guys you'd wish to meet. I went the store and a bunch of girls I'd say 18-23 with a crate of booze at the very most got all excited and immediately started talking to me asking me am I getting pissed tonight. However I'm in my 30's and I've only had 1 girlfriend. Because the others that liked me soon realized I was popping pills, getting drunk in the morning until night. I've suffered from depression, anxiety and derealization. I also have high functioning autism, but that interferes with social skills, for me at least. What I'm saying is from first look yeah I'm handsome. But super long hair on a guy isn't everybody's taste, tattoos are usually a love or hate thing, and my other struggles which I've mentioned.

It ain't as easy as people think especially when you leave highschool and enter the real world. People will try to put you down aka to "humble" you meanwhile you could be the kindest most approachable guy. Only way forward is to embrace it. Have an air of confidence and those who aren't threatened treat them nice.

Kodiak gave a gym example - let me give you some more: When women like you they will approach you in bizarre ways: When I was in 11th grade I was reading a book during lunch to finish my English report, when two very hot girls a year above were standing behind me all throughout lunch giggling "You approach him" one would say as she playfully shoved her friend towards me. "No you!" as she would shove her friend back. Eventually, one was pushed onto my lap and scurried off of me all red in the face (she liked it). Story 2: I was at work when the most attractive girl I had ever laid eyes on (a co-worker) began constantly walking past me and unusual number of times each day as if to get my attention. After a few weeks she began saying hi to me in passing an unusual number of times a day. Once the rapport had been established somewhat she began asking me for help with things she could easily do hersepf - we eventually dated. Story 3: girls will often subconsciously laugh (as Kodiak says they don't even realize it). I'll often be talking to a male friend of mine in an open room and realize somebody is listening in when a girl giggles at my cheesy lines. No, I'm not a stand-up comedian, the girl is just receptive to me. Story 4: Had a girl constantly try to start small talk with me. One day she asks me how my day is (I answered but didn't return the courtesy and ask her back). She stands there awkwardly until she decides to tell me about her day anyway - a humble brag about how male customers were harassing her and how her day was so bad. But here's the twist: when management removed the customers from tv store they claimed they were only teasing her because she was hot. Considering I barely knew this girl it was obvious she was trying to make herself seem more appealing to me and make me jealous. A few weeks later she asked me for IG and her non-verbals said it all - completely red in the face, stammering, looking down at the ground. Story 5: walked out of the break room one day and this very attractive blonde co-worker chases after me. "Has anyone ever told you before that you look like a Calvin Klein model?... Your face, your body - your everything"
