Well, you got me again, never had injectors in a personal vehicle, just semi's. However, I did recognize a word here and there.. 😢😂 I hope you get it screaming..

Unfortunately, your car and laptop will probably become best friends. As in, you'll have to mount the laptop in the car because it'll need constant adjustment and tuning. It seems to be the way with most modern EFI. The more EFI nonsense I see, the further back in time I go. Our cars are already manual fuel pumps and carbs. Before long, we'll be back to hand cranking engines. Good luck to you.

glad to see this thing get shaken out! I've got a good base tune from a reputable tuner if youd like to take a peek at it or try anything from it. Dont forget that your duty cycle will max out if your fuel pressure drops, to try to compensate. Id be more inclined to believe your losing fuel pressure from your pump being too small, rather than maxing out the 19s. My combo had TFS heads and was only about %80 for what its worth! I used a lowdollar 0-100 PSI transducer and adapter, put it right where the shrader valve goes on the rail next to the regulator

hey man, do you happen to remember the drill and tap size you used on the upper intake for the ACT sensor?
I thought I listed in the video, but pretty sure it was 3/8 npt and 37/64 drill bit.
@VeteranRevivals I'm sure you did but I really appreciate the clarification here. I scooped up this intake from a friend and I didn't realize the modifications I would have to do. It's looking like relocating that sensor, deleting my EGR system, and getting a new throttle body with spacer should be about the only things I need to add?
@metalderek8376 if the explorer intake you have has an EGR hole, you don't need to delete anything. The factory 5.0 HO throttle body and EGR spacer will fit the explorer intake.
Its the intake just like yours. I haven't seen anything else on that coolant temp sensor that you had to plumb back in. Is that part of the egr delete? @VeteranRevivals

I haven't called to get a time frame, just ordered and crossing my fingers. Took almost three months for the motor mounts on Earl.
You should have went with Pyle speakers... The went out of business years ago.. located in my hometown,.. Huntington indiana ... they were pretty good speakers back in the day..

I like a LS but I stayed SBF because it was all around cheaper.. and I am a cheap ass 😬 My buddy claims he could have built two 351 Windsor's for what his carb LS has costed him so far. I personally love my 5.8l

I’m doing the same set up but not sure if I should go to 24# injectors and a bigger TB. Trying to keep it relatively cheap since I just spent 1500 on suspension and rear gears

What kind do timing curve you running?
I doing a holley terminator x for my fox. But I bought it during the time holley discontinued the foxbody kit so I got the universal ford kit. I hope it goes well.

Eh, there are many different opinions on that
I was having all the same issues 2 weeks ago after I installed the Holley. My car is very similar to yours except i have 24lb injectors. Look up Anderson Motorsports Base Holley Tune. For 80 bucks, they'll create a basic tune for you with info you provide them about your car. I did a week ago and my car ran much better. I still had to make adjustments to my throttle blade and my fuel pressure was actually set a little low. Remember, everytime you touch that idle screw you have to do a TPS reset on the Holley. It took me alot of back and forth tweaking with my screw but I finally got it. The stock IAC works fine, youll just have to find that sweet spot. But I do highly recommend the base tune by Anderson. My plan is to run the car how it is for a few months just so I can drive it around. Then I'm getting a dyno tune at a reputable shop near me. In the end, you should really get a dyno tune. Good luck man.

"Undulate"? While grammatically correct: "To move in waves or with a smooth, wavelike motion", I believe you are wanting the tuning term "Surge". Good find on the IAC, I was thinking the IAC needed cleaning or was crap, and the injectors were too small.
So I worked on mine for more than a month getting the idle right at cold and at hot. My car car wants to be around 13af to idle without surge any leaner it surges. You can adjust on computer temp vs fuel and start up fuel and after start fuel. Just 5% at a time and when it’s good I’d turn closed loop compensation off from 0rpm to like 1500 rpm that’s just how mine likes it. Might take you awhile unless you want to pay a tuner and put it on a dyno.

How did you end up getting the L and L mounts to work? I’ve also got a 66 f250 and a set of L and L motor mounts to put in but they don’t seem to line up right.
Only a couple holes line up and you have to drill the rest

Just for ho-hos, what about 30 PSI injectors and an Aeromotive 3000 fuel pump? Would that help or over fuel Scrapi???
Likely overfuel, the pump is not a bad idea. Could push these 4 hole 19# injectors to 28#
Lol he used the wizard to set the aic used the trotle screw then the aic will fix itself. Lmao holley makes a 5 minute video about the aic.

I worked through the same thing on my Term X 5.0.....replace the fctory iac with this S6A9F715BB IAC Idle Air Control Valve For Ford Fiesta KA 1.3 STREET KA 1.6 change the setting back to GM lsx.

It takes some finagling, but worth it!
Idle can be fixed by the help of a tuner have a 347 stroker with vortec blower idles fine after Mike pine from Pinetop tuning tuned a 1988 mustang

@VeteranRevivals they sell chips for the factory computer that allows you to tune yourself, but how many changes do you really need to make?
For me there is no replacement for the ability to ditch the MAF, use wide band, and have pretty much endless ability to add or take away variables.

@VeteranRevivals I would clean the mass air sensor.. or check to see the sensor inside it's pointing in the right direction?..
The Holley Terminator x doesn't use MAF, that housing is just there as a place holder until I change out the tube.
It might be bad..I had a 90 hatch which would idle high.. did everything under the sun.. long story short it was the sensor inside the tube..
It will never sink until you put in the kitchen sink!

Did you use the laptop to assign the iac to the correct out put? Unless the changed it in the last two years you can't just do it with the hand held. Should have watched longer. Lol. My IAC park s normally around 40 it's over 50 when cold. My idle is not great I get a little surge on start up and it will die every once and awhile on decel.

Low numbers are rich, high numbers are lean. You dont want over 15 in most cases. Im just checking because I was confused if you had it backwards by your commentary. The Afr you had at the 18min mark was beautimus. At the end the afr drops really low when the duty cycle was high on the injectors. Meaning it was pumping more fuel than was needed. The duty cycle will drop once it stops dumping the fuel.
Yeah it was dumping when it crossed the 90% duty and stayed wide open haha
