You do it the same way I have done many gear sets and I have never had any problems. People get to stressed over gears. Good backlash and pattern and run it!
I don't have a lot of experience with rear ends unless it's on a woman but it's fun to watch someone that knows what they're doing. I got my United We Stands T-shirt and proudly wore it while wrenching on my new (to me) Impala!
A great deal of good info here, but if you have a truck with a 1to1 top gear and a slow rear end , that you’ve added a more powerful engine to, and you want a more relaxed cruising speed, consider adding taller tires or tires and wheels. A more economical alternative, especially for folks with not many tools and no place to work. Most tire companies have spec books online for their tires. You might have to give up the shackle lowering. But hey, that will just save more money. Thanks for the video and take care.
@@VeteranRevivals you’re welcome I will be buying another shirt soon but it won’t have the OG name on it, I’m looking at the warning unfinisher t shirt
Awesome Art, I was soo glad your calculations brought your RPM's down respectfully. Nice job..
Thank you 🤙 it's a gamble sometimes haha
If you heat those bearing races with a propane torch they will usually slide right off. Great video sorry about the spelling.
For sure, done it a couple of times. Thank you🤙
