can you just add amplified speakers into the sub input? or do they need to be subs?

I'm one of many users with the right-hand side of the Tonex interface cut from view (doesn't show the complete screen). The manual says to hover the cursor over the right edge and drag to enlarge it to full view, but this doesn't work. Has anyone solved this with a work around?

Thank you Marcus for these excellent videos. I've been using the GM 800 for a few months ( thanks to your help) and am very happy with it. One problem I do have though is latency when using it as a midi controller for 3rd party VST's in Reaper. This is making it pretty much unusable for me as a midi controller. Any advice? Cheers.

Hi Marcus.. i see your playing a Godin guitar which is equiped with synth access pickup.. like mine i have Godin Xtsa.. if you dont mind me asking.. how are your sensitivity settings? Your Dynamic settings,low velocity cut settings and play feel settings? Because its really tracking very well on your playing!..great videos very informative..Thanks in Advance 🤝🍻

Can we use TMP in MONO using just XLR 1 Output connected to only 01 FRFR cabinet or TMP users must work on stereo with 02 FRFR cabinets???? Its not clear at the manual nor in the rear panel...

I have been researching the ToneX to utilize for amps/cabs along with my Helix floor to free up more DSP, but I can't seem to find and answer if there is an option to where any tweaks are saved automatically or if you have to hit save every time before switching presets? Put another way, if I use ToneX with the Hx Floor I would want to be able to change TX presets using midi and HX Snapshots, but if say, I add some treble to a preset - does that change get lost when I switch if I forget to hit save?

Bro, try to get some absorbers for your walls in your nice studio room. This will get most out of your equipment and will do your brain some favour as you reduce reflections and therefore your brain hasnt to do the filtering of the reflections from the direct source

I've been trying hard to update the firmware.Unfortunately the instructions given does not work on a Mac.The USB keeps saying " No update file" .I see few folks having trouble updating with a Mac too.I wish Roland can give some proper instructions on this.If you know anything about it please help.Thanks

I have several guitars with the 13-pin built in, including Godin. My understanding is that I need a GKC-AD to connect to the GM-800. Is that how you are using your Godin? Does the GK-3(ish) Godin + GKC-AD track as well as a GK-5 pickup? Thanks!

This is undoubtedly one of the most instructive videos on Boss GM-800 I had deep interest watching from start to the end so far. Content contains a huge amount of rich valuable technical informations, still each segment is presented in a concise fashion with no ambiguity. I bought a Boss GM-800 recently and just started exploring options including not exclusively using it with GK-5 pickup but also as a MIDI controller. Thanks to this video, I really feel I now reached a new scope I long been dreaming of, though never thought possible achieving. Thank you for sharing your info and keep on your good work. To me the live sound engineer just gets it and the tools to make the excitement happen live. All you need to do is listen to the tones from live mixes straight from the board and how right on it the vibe is. So easy to mix in the post even for a Producer with a laptop and a pair of booming studio monitors like a bazzooka.
