RESTORATION of a homemade pistol from 1924
Hello, dear viewers! I'm excited to introduce my new project to you finally - the restoration of a rare vintage lighter of American production from 1923. It was likely manufactured in New York. I found it on one of the online auctions, and just a week later, this beauty was in my hands.
All the lighter mechanisms turned out to be functional; the only thing it lacked was sight details. The lighter itself is made of metal and bakelite. All the metal was covered in rust, and the bakelite had some damages. However, I managed to fix everything: I got rid of the rust, coated the metal with a protective layer to prevent further corrosion. In just a week, I restored this lighter to its former beauty.
I won't keep you waiting with long stories; I invite you to watch my video where you can see the entire process yourself. Enjoy watching! If you like my video, don't forget to hit the like button, leave a comment, and rate my work from 1 to 10 👍👎Your opinion is crucial to me. Thank you for your attention!🫶 #lighter #restoration #amsr #pistol #rare

Bring Back the Flame: Restoration of a 100 year old Lighter
มุมมอง 15K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello, my dear viewers. Finally, I received the long-awaited package with a century-old lighter that I bought at an auction. These lighters date back to the late 19th to early 20th century, so it's quite possible that it's over 100 years old. While it was flying to me from Europe, I had already decided that I wanted to cover it in gold, as bronze tends to oxidize quickly and lose its luster. Du...

Hello, friends! Today, I got my hands on this wonderful miniature lighter, the "Golden Key." I bought it on an online auction for a mere pittance with the intention of turning it into a real golden key, covered with a layer of 14-carat gold. According to the seller, the lighter had been lying in a damp basement for a long time, accumulating a thick layer of oxides and patina. I'm very grateful ...

It was designed to shoot pyrotechnic ...
Restoration of a century-old ratchet screwdriver
มุมมอง 8Kปีที่แล้ว
The "Centenarian" screwdriver has an average age, as its patent was registered in Germany back in 1891, and these screwdrivers were produced until 1945. My new friend gave me this old lady after we had a glass of beer at the bar and started talking. I told him about my passion and projects, and he really liked my hobby and my channel. He mentioned that there's an old workshop on his grandfather...
New life for an old pocket knife 🔪 Amazing Restoration
มุมมอง 24Kปีที่แล้ว
Hi friends! I recently acquired a beautiful knife from one of the antique shops. Its owner, who restores old items himself, couldn't find the time to restore it due to a large number of orders, so he decided to sell it to me. He showed me a catalog where it was indicated that the knife was produced in Germany in 1930. I performed a rust removal procedure using an acidic solution, followed by ch...

In this exciting video, I'll show you how I restored an antique pepper mill I found in my grandmother's garage. Restoration a Set of 1980 Dominoes - History in Every Domino Piece
มุมมอง 3.1Kปีที่แล้ว
This set of dominoes has been a family heirloom for decades. According to family legend, it was gifted to my grandfather, a journalist covering the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, by Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev. Brezhnev was known to be a big fan of dominoes, although whether this particular story is true or not, we may never know. The dominoes themselves bear the stamp of the Pryluky factory...
