The holy quintent from madoka amgica theu have to deal with the risk of becoming witches, and with despair + homura had to go back in time every time just to save madoka and also nagisa was 7/8 years old (but i dont think shes in the holy quintent i forgot) and she became a witch the same day she became a magical girl
To me, this sounds like you've just figured out that something is wrong, but you can't do anything except wait to see what happens. And you're apprehensive yet kinda resigned to it.
This song encapsulates how I feel after realizing my 2 closest friends were not what I expected them to be, I feel disappointed and betrayed, but at the same time relieved….
i first heard this 5 years ago and can still say with confidence that kyoko's theme is the best, something about it just makes me wanna listen to it over and over and the dance that she does during her transformation sequence moves me in a sort of way.
First time you feel it, it might make you sad Next time you feel it, it might make you mad But do be glad baby when you've found That's the power that makes the world go 'round That's the power of Love!
"I am now the existence known as evil", that's nothing but self deprecation, it makes perfect sense considering how self loathing she is, she's merely forcing herself to play the role
the author of Madoka Magica, Gen Urobuchi, as a young man spent many years alone in the hospital with books and movies due to some serious health problems, during that time he developed a lonely character, a deep Machiavellianism and utilitarianism that shines through all his old productions Does this description remind you of anyone? Homura is Gen Urobuchi self, she is his avatar! For that Homura could only become a utiliitaristic demon like him.
This song is so nostalgic for me for some reason. I Remember watching the movie when i was 11 and dancing to the Transformation sequence musics. I had no Business watching such a dark anime at a young age lol
"I Remember... The Reason I'm Here, Is To Get Homura Back... I Can't Believe I'd Forget Something So Important. You Waited For Me All This Time, I'm Sorry That I Took So Long, But I'm Here Now. Come On, Let's Go...From Now On, We'll Be Together..." - Ultimate Madoka
I just finally realized in the epilouge of Magia Record season 3, they played this song but I was different arrangement. Honestly the epilogue with the music, hit me really hard in the feeling. _Dare mo Shiranai, Watashitachi no Kiroku_
I don't remember the exact themes associated with Mami and Kyoko, or where their leitmotifs show up, but. The fact that you can hear Decretum, Inevitabilis, and Sagitta Luminis in Sayaka, Homura, and Madoka's parts hits me in the guts, man. And, like, Madoka's segment is the happiest, she's the perfect pretty pink girl with a kind heart and an undying hope. But even her theme has this sense of "That's how things are meant to be, this is the order of the world, it cannot be argued with.", y'know? For all the light her sacrifice brought, it is the catalyst for the madness Homura spirals into, the inevitability of her downfall. And Homura is always positioned visually and musically beside Madoka for a reason. Her theme starts out as that repeating melody of her trying in vain to reach Madoka, to save her, to keep her. And by the end she finally does, she achieves that hopeful melody, that transitions smoothly into Madoka's theme. But we all know that victory is just what she wishes for. And, of course, Sayaka's appearance also opens up with the music representing her grief, her heartbreak, her regret, it only gets brighter by the end. Only in this world, where her finally breaking out, finding joy, serves simply as part of a greater melody, a perfect world Homura wishes for. Sayaka isn't neglected there, but she never was freed from the sorrow she had to endure for the sake of someone that just didn't care. Side note, I feel that since this is a world made up by Homura, a perfect fantasy she wishes she lived in, it shows that she didn't only love Madoka. I don't think she would need to keep her friends as setpieces, simple toys for her girlfriend to remain entertained and content. Homura did want happiness for them too. She grieved their losses every time too, even if she grew numb to it all by the end. And I think the reappearance of their leitmotifs shows the way she honours them, their transformations, the battles they fight, it is her homage to the group of friends she lost. Sure, her world inevitably revolves around Madoka, but she wants her friends in it, too, even if she is kind of emo about it.
Mamis theme is the one called "Credens Justian" (the one that plays when she transformed in the first episode) and the reason why it's so silent and and lacking any of the musical elements of "Credens Justian" is because Mami never really connected deeply with anyone out of the holy quintet and when she did opened up to them she would've gotten devoured by Charlotte. Kyoko theme is Confessio, and it played when Kyoko was telling her backstory, and this its obvious why it's so mellow and melancholic since they're made for totally different kind of scenes.
What is the instrument used?

When you are about to save the world but you first need to transform

WHY’D THIS GET TAKEN OFF OF SPOTIFY????
The transition from Homura's theme into Madoka's still brings a tear to my eye
sayaka was serving so much cunt just for madoka to have the most fucking underwhelming transformation
amazing
I like all the happier arrangements of Inevitabilis in the movie.
WHAT IS THIS HOLY MUSIC😭????

Is this inspired by Mozart Requiem?
"If loving you is a sin, I gladly become a sinner."
Mami’s theme is the only one without drums, bass, guitar. Even Madoka has them but slower

Bro... when Homura said "I am Evil" or whatever, I fr burst out laughing, lmao. Damn good scene, just really funny to hear someone say that.

“He is” Later on: “Now he is” Both scenes play with Kyubey

What instrumento is this?
accordion with violin as complementary
Now we need a version called All for one in the new movie
This is my most favorite track in the whole series. I was really happy when it was used in Magica Record. (EN version, rest in pieces)
I miss that game.
@@LunaticTrumpet me too...if only the jp version had an english patch, like project rayshift did to fgo jp.....
I love Homu 😭😭😭
